[MCD-6067] Can't load into the game at all

I posted about this similarly in ~~MCD-5862~~ however it was dismissed and tagged as resolved when it clearly hasn't been resolved. The issue persists after updating, none (of the 2 suggested fixes: log out of the launcher and check internet connection) work.

I was hoping this would be fixed with the update so I got it, but now I feel cheated since I'm not even able to play the game.

Summary of the other issue (~~MCD-5862~~):
-White text box presented after "press any button" upon loading the game, the game never
loads after this (the box has nothing in it).
-Repairing doesn't work
-Uninstalling doesn't work (including uninstalling including local save files)

What am I expected to do other than make a new thread? I didn't get any assistance on my last one, merely redirected to a "duplicate thread", which solved none of my issues. Please, can I have some guidance on how to fix this, or at least a way to uninstall the game so I can start afresh.

Had the same problem so i uninstalled the game and the launcher. Reinstalled the launcher. Went to reinstall the game and got all the way through the install but it still says that it needs installing. Nothing in install location. now if i click the install button it just says Failed to install game.

Edit: just got the game to work closed the launcher and made a new file lication to install the game to jast called it Minecraft Dungeons 2. Opend the launcher and clicked instal and selected the new file location Minecraft Dungeons 2 and it worked. hop this helps.

Shaun's method worked for me, hopefully this will help a lot of the other people with the same issue if it's properly addressed, thankyou for the help!

We're tracking this issue in ~~MCD-5306~~, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate. The newly found solution has been added to the note in the main ticket.
