This most likely isnt a bug. Maybe the dev's wanted this...
You can do this in the real Minecraft in creative.
The bug is that you have to hold or click 4 times to destroy it and its not available in the creative inventory. Bedrock CAN be destroyed in PC Minecraft, it's also used as a building material, so i think it should be added to the pe inventory. The only problem is the invisible bedrock wall...

MCPE-5408- No bedrock in creative inventory.You should be able to see the bottom face of bedrock,instead of an x-ray view.
