[MCD-6175] Stuck on loading screen after 6/16/21 hotfix

Have rebooted several times and also tried running it while disconnected from internet. Neither worked. Game was working just fin a fewdays ago. But can't load it today after installing the hot fix.

First it pops up a blank "notice" (pic 1). When I close it with the "x" then it just keeps spinning a redstone block and never lets me select my character...just waiting forever...
