[MCD-6064] Game not loading

When loading the game I get as far as the 'press any key' screen. Once I press any key a blank white dialog box appears. Without anything to click in the box I close it via the 'x' at the top right (see attached file). After that 'pressing any key leads to the loading screen, with the block spinning at the bottom right, but the game does not load. Please help!

P.S. I don't know if it makes a difference, but there appears to be an 'accessibility' feature turned on. When the 'press any screen' first loads there is a voice over saying, 'Minecraft Dungeons. Press any key to start.' Then scrolling the cursor over the 'x' will elicit a voiceover, 'exit.' I do not know how to turn off that feature.
