MCD / MCD-5831

When I launch the game it tells me to push a button to continue. Afterwards it shows a blank white box with nothing on it except an exit button. After I click the exit button it brings me back to the push a button to continue screen. I push a button and then the game just loads forever and never stops until you manually close the game. I've tried waiting to see if anything ever happens, whether the box ever actually displays something or the game eventually loads but no matter what nothing always happens.
