I bought the hero edition a while back and played for a bit. I just recently wanted to play it again and it says I don't own the game anymore.

Launcher or Microsoft store version? 
Are you using gamepass?

Try:

Closing the game > Uninstall game> WIN(⊞)-R > %temp% > Enter > Ctrl-A > Delete > Reinstall game (Skip any folders in use)
