[MCD-3270] Cannot start game for one Switch user

The game gets stuck after the "press any button" campfire loading screen, with an endlessly rotating block of redstone in the bottom right corner. My issue is similar but not identical to others reported here. My daughter has M Dungeons on her Switch account and it worked fine for offline games (solo and multiplayer) for several hours of gameplay. As soon as I logged her into a Microsoft account (we wanted to try online play), it stopped working. This now prevents us having offline AND online play. It is possible, however, to play the game with my account or with my son's on the same device. I wondered if the problem is to do with age restrictions (she is the youngest in the family), or if it is because we played for a while without linking to a Microsoft account before deciding to link things up.

I was just about to say the exact same thing I play on switch too it just keeps loading I left this screen on for half an hour it still had the redstone block.

I figured it out! You have to turn it on airplane mode, then restart the game, you will the see if you click online it will tell you to sign in. But this will just keep you to the switch hero screen so go to switch hero, then leave. You the. Click ZR, to go to settings. Once you are there press the game tab, and go down to configure online play. Once you press that, you will then see you can sign out of your Microsoft account. Turn off airplane mode, then sign out. After you do that, you can go to the configure online play again, then you sign in. You will then sign in as you first did, and now it’s all fixed!
