[MCD-314] Game doesn't update the gamertag after it's been changed

As I can't find anybody else with an issue like this, and I can't get proper help on the discord I decided to ask here. After downloading the launcher and the beta version of the game, I started to play. after about an hour or two of playing, I found out that I could change my Xbox Gamertag. So I decided to change it to something I use more often. The Launcher reflects the change, the Xbox reflects it, and even the different Minecraft websites reflect it. However, the game itself still has the old account name and the Minecraft dungeons website used for preorder (https://www.minecraftdungeons.net/en-us/) still has the old account name. Is there any way to fix this, I tried reloading the launcher and rebooting my PC, I feel like the only way is to uninstall and reinstall the game, I just don't want to lose my save data. Why the website still says the old name to is beyond me, I tried to go into the profile option on the website, but it redirects me to the Xbox profile page, which has the correct username already.

I had the same 'issue' it just takes a while for your XBox gamertag to change
