MCD / MCD-2274

My dad bought the Xbox Game pass and whenever I download a game off of it I'm able to play it with no problems at all on my own personal account on PC. However whenever I try to play this game it says, "Game Ownership Not Established" and that I don't own the game. I logged in using his account and it worked just fine. Maybe this game is just different than any other game ever created in the existence of the game pass... I don't really know. I'd like to play on my account so I can play with my friends and get achievements. I've tried re-installing the game, both with my own account on the Microsoft store and with his account, but I haven't gotten it to work yet. It would be nice if I could play the game, thanks.
