[MCD-1428] Unable to verify game ownership

When attempting to play earlier today I was kicked off by the game telling me that I was no longer connected to the internet and could not communicate with the minecraft servers. I checked my settings, which were all working just fine, attempted to log back in and am now met with the following:

UNABLE TO VERIFY GAME OWNERSHIP

Sorry, we're currently unable to verify that you own Minecraft Dungeons. Please make sure that you have working internet connection and try again.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I was able to play on three separate occasions earlier today (most recently at around 5:30pm CT), but when I try to play now, I'm getting this same error.

I'm wondering if it is a server overload. Haven't seen anything on twitter from the main page, any other places they might post updates?
