Josef BienI have been playing the game for the last 5+ hrs and I have had no problems. I reload my game, after having another bug where my character continuously walks/runs in a directions I am not clicking it to go to, and now it gives me an error message saying it cannot verify I own the game. I have restarted the game multiple times now and have even restarted my PC and nothing.
I have EXACTLY the same thing happening to me. Was playing all day with my girlfriend, now suddenly my mouse didn't seem to work right, making my character go in the opposite direction and stuff like that. Restarted the game and boom, unable to verify ownership. Tried restarting PC, logging out of the Xbox app and back in... no luck so far.
Same there m8 I've completed Default mode went to play another game wanted to come back to speedrun the Adventure mode and boom "YoU dO nOt OwN tHiS gAmE. To be honest you cannot blame game first day after it's launch about the amount of bugs all games had that and we need to just deal with it.
Similar issue. My son and I had been playing for an hour and a half and then took a break to make dinner. We experienced a temporary power outage and when we powered back on our computers and launched the game we both get the same error.
A little confused by the previous comment about it being a duplicate. When I clicked that issue it seems to indicate that this is resolved. Clearly its not resolved for me, but maybe I'm misunderstanding what was begin linked. Hopefully they can get this fixed soon my son was really enjoying it and is now super disappointed.
Ignore the previous comment. The report was mistakenly though to be a duplicate as the error messages are similar.
