BDS-1950Items disappearing after crafting or repairing
Items, like buckets when crafting cakes and shovels, are disappearing when I use them to craft or repair another item.

I'm having this problem too. Can't make cake, sticks, paintings, and lost a whole diamond pickaxe because i tried to enchant it in an anvil with a book. dying does not bring back the lost items.
