Crafting not working correctly - lost items

After installing the new update today, items are now disappearing when crafting. It’s occurred several times with different item types - when crafting both singular or multiple, they initially appear to be placed into the inventory but completely disappear and the items are then lost. Reloading makes no difference to this either.
