Know how you get people on your side? Lump almost your entire society in with racists and sexists, then claim that they're against workers (most of them are workers, by the way).

The term "Communist" is a term that was mandated by the USSR through the Third Communist International or Comintern. This was to distinguish if from the term "socialist". So if you're defending "communism", you are defending an ideology that has been tainted by violence and dictatorships, and even purely in theory strives for equal ownership of capital, which is extreme, and is not an idea that is supported by "progressive" and "workers". If by progressives you mean those of the Progressive Era and that are inspired by it, then no, the Progressive Era ended after WWI, around the time Communism came about, so Communism wasn't even around until after Progressivism was replaced with laissez-faire capitalism in the USA.

I think you might be confusing communism with socialism, which is a broader ideology that strives for equality, and can include ideologies such as environmentalism, feminism, etc. In its economic form, it is about giving purchasing power to the workers, which is a much more practical and feasible economic system, unlike Communism which probably isn't possible until the very far future, or simply impossible.

That it's unexpected. Most people have heard that song about a million times, it's played on the radio and on TV all the time. You hear the piano intro and see the video and you're expecting Adele's soft or sad voice, and instead Mario's cheerful shout comes out of nowhere. Like a lot of the humor in these style of videos, it's about defying expectations. The fact that Mario's voice syncs up with the song so well is just icing on the cake.

I read somewhere that a joke is like a frog; if you dissect it you might learn something about it, but in the end you've still killed it.

look if you're gonna just be daft and pretend there isnt a joke here then just stop replying, or do you seriously need people to explain to you the humor in these types of videos?
