Man when you have to make a long winded edit when you get downvoted it makes you even more fucking hated. Look everyone gets downvoted en mass sometimes and you just have to take it. These votes are worth only what you give value to them and if you value you them so much as to make an edit to explain yourself then you value you them a little to much. I'm just frustrated because I really don't know what this community wants sometimes. Its shit like this that makes you want to quit participating and contributing to the community alltogether.

There are often groups in the LfG Tool which you can join but there is one major problem. Neither Orgrimmar nor Stormwind allow realm-crossing which means you have to check on your realm for raiding them. I play on a low-pop realm and managed to get it, so you just have to be patient and check trade channel on your realm.

You can also 4 man Varian if you have a heal/tank and the alliance don't mess with you (I did it on EU-Draenor which might as well have no Alliance).
I haven't played in maybe 2 or 3 years. When I last did I was alliance and would regularly see, while bullshitting in town, people say things to the effect of "almost finished attack on orgrimmar, 9 spots open". And one time I sent a tell and was invited and ported and garrosh was downed shortly thereafter with no help from me.
I was on perenold and tichondrius, which were both highly populous at the time, but I feel like that's gotta still happen on most servers.

Yes, months before Legion, a year plus after WoD, let's talk about.... what? You want to rehash about how to.make money with your garrison? Talk about the new mounts that are months away? It's amazing and hilarious, and a GIANT 'you had to have been there' joke. Best of '16 so far, IMO.

The problem with this joke is that in the quest dialog pop up the city guards actually have a lot of very specific RP text for every single "Where can I find X?" option, but even when someone asks you a specific question you just respond with one of the voiced lines rather than one of those specific lines.

Actually, here, the " 's " denotes ownership rather than a contraction, though you're also right.
That way, a sentence like "When visiting our kingdom, the visiting kings are awash in the king's honor, because the king's a bit sweaty when he gets nervous" works out to use all three but still makes sense grammatically.

That's the one that got me into WoW. Between the 'Yesterday' at the beginning, to the 'Eagles Dares' as they're running through the tunnel into Winterspring, interspersed with Mozart's own 'Requiem Mass,' and then it happens; freaking Scatman starts. I still watch it regularly to this very day. Best WoW vid ever IMO.

There are often groups in the LfG Tool which you can join but there is one major problem. Neither Orgrimmar nor Stormwind allow realm-crossing which means you have to check on your realm for raiding them. I play on a low-pop realm and managed to get it, so you just have to be patient and check trade channel on your realm.

You can also 4 man Varian if you have a heal/tank and the alliance don't mess with you (I did it on EU-Draenor which might as well have no Alliance).

I haven't played in maybe 2 or 3 years. When I last did I was alliance and would regularly see, while bullshitting in town, people say things to the effect of "almost finished attack on orgrimmar, 9 spots open". And one time I sent a tell and was invited and ported and garrosh was downed shortly thereafter with no help from me.
I was on perenold and tichondrius, which were both highly populous at the time, but I feel like that's gotta still happen on most servers.

No, talk about core reasons why the game loses most of its playerbase in the first month of release. Maybe that the balance leveling up is stupidly broken, or that new players will get confused by the heirlooms and chauffeurs and bikes in the starting zones. Maybe talk about how they're taking away cool unique touches to certain abilities classes have, or taking away useful abilities from certain specs. Talk about the talent system, it not being as diverse as the old one. Talk about how profession economy should be, since they clearly fucked it up big time in WoD. Talk about something that will get player's minds moving and thinking about the game they want to create. I see these threads MAYBE for a week after launch of an expo, and after that, no one talks about it again. We're just playing the game blizzard decides to create, and that means they get to design it with $$$ in mind.

This is a Stormwind City Guard, which is a non-player character from World of Warcraft, doing an AMA, and, for the vast majority of the time, responding to questions in character for Stormwind City Guards. It's amazing and hilarious, and a GIANT 'you had to have been there' joke. Best of '16 so far, IMO.

The problem with this joke is that in the quest dialog pop up the city guards actually have a lot of very specific RP text for every single "Where can I find X?" option, but even when someone asks you a specific question you just respond with one of the voiced lines rather than one of those specific lines.
