I was about to say this. Even when I look up the lyrics I find them hard to remember. My brother, on the other hand, can remember the lyrics to songs after only hearing them a couple of times.
I also find it really hard to understand what people are saying in crowded places when people are talking around us. It's very frustrating sometimes.

It's a lot more accurate, most people around the world (that can possibly be reached by that video, I mean) are able to understand basic English words.
Especially super simple words. Words/phrases like sorry, fuck, to go, what the fuck, fast food etc. are so common they might as well be in the dictionary. This is especially true for younger generations and most things that have been invented in recent history.
Something that surprised my britbong friend when he visited was that the majority of music on the radio had English lyrics and a lot of billboards will just straight up have completely English text without a translation.
