The fuck, I thought my parents are the only one who speaks like that, well, we have no McDonald here so we never use that word but right now I'm very flashed.
As related anecdote when I added Russian keyboard to my Macbook, so I could type the Russian things into Duolingo, bunch of programs decided to start only speaking Russian to me. I guess it accelerates my learning, but it's a bitch to use Transmission or Dropbox in Russian when you are still learning basics of the language.
I really don't know. I thought I just added a new keyboard layout. At first all I got was this little flag on the top bar which allowed me to switch between Finnish and Russian keyboard layouts, but after a while I started to notice when I right clicked a file all the Dropbox options (like "send to dropbox" or whatever) where in Russian (instead of Finnish). I've since disabled the Russian keyboard, but I haven't rebooted. It hasn't bothered me enough to start fixing it, since it hasn't affected browsers or terminal which is were I spend most of my time.

That might not be a software mistake as much as it is telling you, depending on the language there may or may not be something in "null"
