Slim Shady LP: softer/less controversial. Except that there are many Slim Shady tracks (serial killer, psychopath character Eminem uses) Marshall Mathers LP: Kill you, Kim, The Way I Am, and many others...highly controversial. Eminem Show : Not very controversial, but fucking amazing album. Encore : I don't think it's controversial. I think it shows Em's drug habit was taking over. Mockingbird being the only song I still listen to from that album. Relapse : I was disappointed. I don't think it was controversial. On the other hand, Eminem was in the process of kicking his drug habit, and writing this album may have saved his life by helping keeping him distracted. Recovery : Not Controversial. Really good album in comparison to the previous two. Eminem's rap takes on a positive twist in this album. He's dealt with some of his inner demons and says he's back and ready for more. Yet it's been three years and I still don't have a new Eminem album to listen to. I like this album a lot, though I've heard mixed opinions.

It's the Gaussian Blur on his face. They should've used real depth of field, and if they did, they didn't need to add the GB, but there you go. It pretty much always looks fake if used wrongly. Lens blur is generally a better option.
The bottom of the image will be cropped in some browsers. I can just imagine his manager arranging a high priced photographer and standing around for hours, trying on various rings, watches and props trying to looks tough. Hailie's 17, it will be interesting if she has kids to see if grandpa switches it up. There's vomit on his Bill Cosby sweater already, mom's spaghetti.

I was gonna come say the same thing. I DID find some fun things by right-clicking the page and using INSPECT ELEMENT:
"<head profile=" shows that this is a Drupal 7 site, among other things. Pretty fancy for just a splash page.
"<body class=" has a div under it that has a link called #skip-to-content-target, and if you highlight that in INSPECT ELEMENT, right click it and hit the :focus function. A WILD LINK APPEARS IN THE TOP CORNER!
Moral of the story, when you're this big, even if you have a giant banner image of you flipping off your visitors, you still wanna track them, for science. And statistics.

Hit the orange menu button in Firefox, go to "Web Developer > Web Console" right click the page and select "Inspect Element". To the right of the new menu there are some buttons, one of them is a cube. Click the cube.

It seems there's an addon for that. Haven't tested it though, so I assume no responsibility if it formats your harddrive, burns your house down and spits in your soup.
It essentially represents how many things are being done on that part of the page.
For example, look at the text box. You can see that it and the save button are sitting on top of the "commenting as" box, which are sitting on top of another box (which both extend the same length down to the end of the save button), which are sitting on top of another box (the background for that image), which are sitting on top of the commenting section, which are sitting on top of the page's background.
I over simplified it a little bit, but that's the general idea.

Parody, commentary, and fan accounts are allowed, but it looks like if the celeb/company has a reasonable claim that the person is pretending to BE them vs. parodying, Twitter will take the name from the squatter.

That's the thing about getting old, and I think that's why 40 is the big milestone people throw around. Before 40, you obviously look older than you did at 20, but it's minor things, or just a glimpse here and there.
I'm female and I just turned 39, and just had my makeup done last night, and not only did I notice those little things, like little wrinkles around my eyes and more little spots and freckles all over, but now, at 39, as they were putting on eye makeup, I noticed that my eyelids were...sort of drooping down. Like this. I'm NOT going to have plastic surgery, ever, I promise. But it's just one of those things (like old-looking hands) that comes with aging, and when it happened to me, it was just a moment of a little bit of sadness for the loss of my youth. I'm not sad about my stupid eyelids, it's just such a clear sign (to me, not that I think anyone else would notice or care) that my 20s are over.

I know I sound like a whiner when I complain about those jokes (I am not offended. I am Italian, after all. Our entire country is a big joke on the international front, and our people are heavily stereotyped in a lot of cultures. I don't care, I find funny loads of Italian-centered jokes.)

Saw him in Glasgow last week. Same here as well, he said very little and let Mr. Porter (Eminems hype man/Ex-D12 member) do most of the interacting with the crowd. Lot of Eminem hate going on.... Cut him some slack. Dude is one of the greatest rappers to ever exist. Sure he fell off a bit once the drugs hit but you can't forget where he came from. Some really original shit and he is def one of the better ones out there when it comes to lyricism and flow.

You can't just do that, there's a whole content management system behind (looks like Drupal), with databases, PHP code and magical fairies. They had to somewhat modify the homepage to display this one picture.
They can. There is lots they could do. They could of edited the htaccess
In my head I imagine, the company who manages the site gets an email, attached is the pic and instructions. Forwarded to guy who has to do it. Uploads pic, does his preferred way, knowing he's going to be back to edit it soon anyway, then goes about his Friday.

Eminem is not necessarily addressing two middle fingers to Kendrick, but I think he is communicating his opinion to those who are only now entering this debate, especially weak MCs who are only now reforming their attitudes towards a lyrics-oriented view of the genre. In the lines you mention, Kendrick speaks to the ever vibrant debate about the GOAT, suggesting his own list of top MCs. This sort of list is a rap topos. Eminem supplies his own list.

Slim Shady LP: softer/less controversial. Except that there are many Slim Shady tracks (serial killer, psychopath character Eminem uses)
Marshall Mathers LP: Kill you, Kim, The Way I Am, and many others...highly controversial.
Eminem Show : Not very controversial, but fucking amazing album.
Encore : I don't think it's controversial. I think it shows Em's drug habit was taking over. Mockingbird being the only song I still listen to from that album.
Relapse : I was disappointed. I don't think it was controversial. On the other hand, Eminem was in the process of kicking his drug habit, and writing this album may have saved his life by helping keeping him distracted.
Recovery : Not Controversial. Really good album in comparison to the previous two. Eminem's rap takes on a positive twist in this album. He's dealt with some of his inner demons and says he's back and ready for more. Yet it's been three years and I still don't have a new Eminem album to listen to. I like this album a lot, though I've heard mixed opinions.

It essentially represents how many things are being done on that part of the page.
For example, look at the text box. You can see that it and the save button are sitting on top of the "commenting as" box, which are sitting on top of another box (which both extend the same length down to the end of the save button), which are sitting on top of another box (the background for that image), which are sitting on top of the commenting section, which are sitting on top of the page's background.
I over simplified it a little bit, but that's the general idea.

Twitter will usually remove celebrity or corporate impersonation accounts if there is an "intent to deceive." Parody, commentary, and fan accounts are allowed, but it looks like if the celeb/company has a reasonable claim that the person is pretending to BE them vs. parodying, Twitter will take the name from the squatter.

That's the thing about getting old, and I think that's why 40 is the big milestone people throw around. Before 40, you obviously look older than you did at 20, but it's minor things, or just a glimpse here and there.
I'm female and I just turned 39, and just had my makeup done last night, and not only did I notice those little things, like little wrinkles around my eyes and more little spots and freckles all over, but now, at 39, as they were putting on eye makeup, I noticed that my eyelids were...sort of drooping down. Like this. I'm NOT going to have plastic surgery, ever, I promise. But it's just one of those things (like old-looking hands) that comes with aging, and when it happened to me, it was just a moment of a little bit of sadness for the loss of my youth. I'm not sad about my stupid eyelids, it's just such a clear sign (to me, not that I think anyone else would notice or care) that my 20s are over.

I know I sound like a whiner when I complain about those jokes (I am not offended. I am Italian, after all. Our entire country is a big joke on the international front, and our people are heavily stereotyped in a lot of cultures. I don't care, I find funny loads of Italian-centered jokes.)
It's just that you almost only find those puns and Latvian jokes on reddit, and it gets tired after a while. I liked Latvian jokes, but they are so overused that I can't stand them anymore... and I know I sound self-centered, it's just that I wish there was overall more effort on reddit for everything.

The thing is, if Eminem had matured in his raps he could still be relevant. There is nothing wrong with being 40+ in hiphop anymore than it's wrong to be 40+ in rock and metal.

I prefer the maturity of his first three major albums (Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show). While containing both immature (My Name is) and mature (The Way I Am) sounding lyrics, most if not all of the songs on these albums have some kind of meaning that is actually... well, meaningful.

When artists are real about their music, you see the true person they are. The only way for his music to mature is for him to mature. He's apparently manned up about addiction and its hold over him, which requires humility, so who knows... it could be interesting.

Saw him in Glasgow last week. Same here as well, he said very little and let Mr. Porter (Eminems hype man/Ex-D12 member) do most of the interacting with the crowd. Eminem only introduced some songs and thanked everyone at the end. He done the same in Ireland, France and Beligum in the last week as well. Still an insane gig in my opinion though.

What I mean is that Eminem's discography of lyrics speaks louder than any individual response to the Control debate could. Eminem is not necessarily addressing two middle fingers to Kendrick, but I think he is communicating his opinion to those who are only now entering this debate, especially weak MCs who are only now reforming their attitudes towards a lyrics-oriented view of the genre. In the lines you mention, Kendrick speaks to the ever vibrant debate about the GOAT, suggesting his own list of top MCs. This sort of list is a rap topos. Eminem supplies his own list.
