Most plebs chose Valor or mystic because red or blue was their favorite color. I chose instinct because they were underdogs and I would have gyms to battle. In my town, Instinct seems to have better players overall, but less of them.

Heh. I had the same reaction until I got a look at some other Mystic logos. It should be this, not this. It's pointy at the bottom in a similar way to the instinct logo, rather than rounded like the valor logo.

Why is it necessarily a shield? Valor's is just a circle and Instinct is more or less a triangle (just follows the wings down a touch instead) , whose shape definitely isn't a shield outline I've seen before.

Fair enough. I guess it doesn't have to be, just the way I look at them, I tend to follow from the bird to the top, around and down. So for Valor, it's a perfect circle and is seamless. Instinct breaks the top/bottom symmetry immediately. So I don't expect it at the bottom. Mystic keeps up the ruse the entire time until the bottom when it just throws it to the wind. I think it's more the unexpected part of the point that bothers me.

truth is, our bird is the best one out of the 3 by far (we have yet to see how they perform in this game though so who knows, but all I can say is that there isn't a better lightning pokemon than zapdos), yet most people prefer red and blue (the colors) over yellow, and deep down inside they know they made the wrong choice by siding with the zerg teams.

instinct will rise above them if they ever make gyms worth taking, ie: add an hour long cooldown inbetween taking gyms or something so that people can't just constantly swap pokemon into the gym for easy XP and accomplish aboslutely nothing in the end in terms of territory control. by balancing the combat and making the game more like the originals instinct will dominate because numbers won't matter if it's all about skill and strategy.

they know they are only winning because they simply have more numbers and the game isn't designed around pvp or really designed around much of anything except "go to the city to find pokemon"

Someone made really nice Vector Graphics of the team logos, but they got it wrong, but it spread since it was so well done otherwise.

Normally I'd laugh at you for getting them wrong (especially with that jab at Instinct), but you've obviously put a lot of effort into these I'd feel bad doing so. Keep up the good work OP!

Thanks for the extensive feedback man! I made the instinct one a few weeks back when the game launched, and that vector image was all that was circulating, I honestly didn't even notice it until now haha. Looks like I'll have to make some Minor text fixes
