Remember "smoking" these?

Not sure if this is nostalgia.... they are still around. Have a big bag of them in the pantry right now.

I "smoked" everything as a kid - candy cigarettes, pretzel sticks, lollipops, pens, etc.

I grew up to be a non-smoking adult. But I still "smoke" pretzel sticks and pens when nobody's looking.

My friends and I preferred the fat rods. We pretended they were Cubans.

I remember licking all the salt off, then thinking they taste of nothing and suck.

Then proceeding to do the same.

Again and again.

I still hold pretzel rods like cigars.

I preferred puffing on these.

Damn right I remember. Nine years old:

Leaning back in the chair (squeeeek), boots crossed on the table, smokin a pretzel stick, my little fingers wrapped around a glass of single-malt (half water of course), swirling a snubnose around my finger.

And if you take a bite out of the "lit" end, you can tap it with your finger into an ashtray and little crumbs will fall off like ash!

Remember "smoking" these

When I was in kindergarten, I pretended to smoke one during snack time while my mom was helping with the class, and my teacher was shooting her daggers the rest of the day.

I used to fit a whole handful in and pretend I was just that hardcore and smoke like 25 of em.

I still eat them... after dipping them into Nutella. Yuuuuum!

The real fun starts when you're in your teens, quite drunk and actually start lighting and smoking them.. not my proudest moment.

I remember telling a girl that they were NOT cigarettes in kindergarten and she told on me. My teacher told me that I wasn't "going to have a very nice summer" if I "kept it up." :/ ....... :(

No, when I was a kid I smoked actual cigarettes.

Not sure why you used quotations there. A buddy of mine and I actually lit these on fire and smoked them. And we inhaled.

When I found the bubblegum ones you could blow through to make "smoke" I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I actually did smoke these at some point during my "lighting stuff on fire" phase. I must say, it was pretty smooth.

...along with sipping my "wine" which was grape or apple juice.

Not nostalgia. They still sell these on a regular basis and kids still smoke them. Now if this was a pic of the candy cigarettes that actually were designed to look like cigarettes then I'd be all over it.

I still get high smoking these.
