You know I just played this for my YouTube channel with my friend and girlfriend and I don't know how to feel about it. I love Mario party 2. Favorite game ever. But I don't know if the mini games in that one are better than this one or if it's just nostalgia but I honestly didn't enjoy them as much in 3. Monarchies may be despotic and absolute, but it is once they attempt to control every aspect of their citizens lives that they begin the descent into Fascism.
Ergo, I think the distinction you have to make is that authoritarianism is inherently autocratic, but not necessarily totalitarian.
There is another point which much be made as well, and that is the distinction between a dominant-party system (which was often the case with historical monarchies) and being a one party state, which is inherent to fascism.
Overall, while some historical monarchies could be described as dictatorships, such as Louis XIV's France, I would disagree that they were far-right enough to be defined as fascist.
One more point: go back and read the first letter of every sentence.

My friend group still plays a shit ton of both Mario party 2 and 3. 3 is the group favorite since the multiple items is great/game guy space is hype incarnate. 2 definitely has better mini games imo, and some better stages as well, but for some reason we usually end up bored of a game of 2 faster than 3.

It took me a minute to parse where the fuck that came from. Ness' up taunt in Smash Bros ("Okay") to Ness' final smash (PK Starstorm). I normally jump between random shit like that very well, having ADD myself. In this case, though, it's just pretty much completely irrelevant. When you're looking for random connections to jump on, you need to filter by how unique your starting point is. If it's a specific phrase, at least maybe three or four words, it might be okay to jump on it. One word? Not unless it's an uncommon word and the reference is at least somewhat relevant in that community. "Okay" is not an uncommon word[citation needed].
Also, why did you go with PK Starstorm instead of basically anything else in his moveset? PK Fire is much more frequently used, what with some players' tendency to spam it, not to mention that PK Starstorm is a final smash and therefore used maybe once a match or so, and even that only if items are on, which 90% of the time they aren't.

My friend group still plays a shit ton of both Mario party 2 and 3. 3 is the group favorite since the multiple items is great/game guy space is hype incarnate. 2 definitely has better mini games imo, and some better stages as well, but for some reason we usually end up bored of a game of 2 faster than 3.

You know I just played this for my YouTube channel with my friend and girlfriend and I don't know how to feel about it. I love Mario party 2. Favorite game ever. But I don't know if the mini games in that one are better than this one or if it's just nostalgia but I honestly didn't enjoy them as much in 3. Although there was one mini game that was pretty hype toward the end of the play session.

It took me a minute to parse where the fuck that came from. Ness' up taunt in Smash Bros ("Okay") to Ness' final smash (PK Starstorm). I normally jump between random shit like that very well, having ADD myself. In this case, though, it's just pretty much completely irrelevant. When you're looking for random connections to jump on, you need to filter by how unique your starting point is. If it's a specific phrase, at least maybe three or four words, it might be okay to jump on it. One word? Not unless it's an uncommon word and the reference is at least somewhat relevant in that community. "Okay" is not an uncommon word[citation needed].
Also, why did you go with PK Starstorm instead of basically anything else in his moveset? PK Fire is much more frequently used, what with some players' tendency to spam it, not to mention that PK Starstorm is a final smash and therefore used maybe once a match or so, and even that only if items are on, which 90% of the time they aren't.

I dont know if this is a cirklejerky sub or if it's supposed to be serious, but defining fascism broadly as "right wing authoritarian nationalism" implies that most monarchies that have ever existed were fascist in nature lol, and that's simply not true. There's far better definitions of the term that actually come closer to the truth.
