There's a shot in the tv spot that has Cap and Natasha walking and an injured Vision behind them, could be that he has the infinity stone removed but doesn't die? Or probably someone saves Vision before they remove the gem
I can't trust the trailers at all for the plot order, since it would be so easy to just edit the stone in or out, or change the colours on the Gauntlet
I still doubt vision will live without the Stone. Seems like a copout. Also itโs a pain to do Bentleyโs make up for the role.

My theory:
Vision and SW are in a foreign country (Italy? It was European, if I remembered correctly)
Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive attack them together (they are married in the comics, so they might be together). That is where we see Glaive try to rip the stone out of Vision in the trailer.
Glaive wounds Vision, but CA, BW, and Falcon come in to save them (Steve catching Proxima Midnight's spear). They defeat the two of them, causing them to retreat.
The good guys fly to Wakanda for protection and to check Vision. PM and CG go back to Thanos, telling him to attack them with full force.
I have a feeling he won't die but he'll be just.. "human". No powers but still the robo body functions and let's him live. Would make a great end to the movie after all the shit that's happened. A moment of empowerment that can be shared by the viewer to have a stunted and impotent Vision holding Wanda, both of them grieving and still looking forward knowing it's not the end.

Doesn't the mind stone give him his consciousness? I feel like he'd just be a shell without it. Still not dead, though. They can bring him back to life once the Avengers get the mind stone back.
Technically its consciousness is a weird hybrid of Jarvis and Ultron's AI shoved inside of a body made by Cho. The stone was meant to somehow improve the body but there's no real backstory as to how it actually figures into Vision's consciousness.
I mean even if he loses flight and the energy blasts he's still made of vibranium infused skin. He'd still be useful. Wanda might be able to infuse him with some of her whatever the hell it is she uses since he's durable. I would hate to see him die since he hasn't really been in the MCU that long, he comes in late for Avengers II, he's barely in Civil War, and that's about it. I'd like to see the character developed a bit more.
Am I the only one that thinks theyโd be better off keeping the mind stone in vision? I mean, he was a huge help in taking down Ultron with the mind stones help. Without it, theyโve lost some of their fighting power, and itโll be more ready for the taking. I feel like Vision should keep the stone. Oh I thought you were talking from a writers perspective. Like the writers are trying to take away the stone and you didnโt understand why because it makes Vision a powerhouse. Lol like yeah thatโs what makes conflict, which makes a plot, which makes a movie. But if youโre a talking about The Avengers/ Shuri trying to get rid of him vs fixing him idk if theyโd know how. Shuri is the most brilliant mind on earth but weโre dealing with an Infinity Stone and an Android made by a slightly less complex Android.
Well I mostly meant that it looks like, out of fear that Vision having the infinity stone puts him in danger, it looks like Shuri and banner will attempt to remove it without harming vision. I feel theyโd be better off letting him fight it out, but whatever happens Iโll enjoy watching this epic movie regardless
I feel ya, Iโm just not sure how easy in general it will be to hide any of them (by itself or with an owner). I mean, it seems like Thanos knows the location of every stone. Idk how, but he seemingly does. The collector didnโt even have his stone for very long, but thanos knew

Itโs all plot. If we are being honest, in that big fight on wakanda where it shows the outriders running towards the good guys, if everyone stood behind vision and just let him shoot his laser beam and spread across the field, heโd probably virtually wipe out all the villains I bet. Itโs all plot

Oh I thought you were talking from a writers perspective. Like the writers are trying to take away the stone and you didnโt understand why because it makes Vision a powerhouse. Lol like yeah thatโs what makes conflict, which makes a plot, which makes a movie. But if youโre a talking about The Avengers/ Shuri trying to get rid of him vs fixing him idk if theyโd know how. Shuri is the most brilliant mind on earth but weโre dealing with an Infinity Stone and an Android made by a slightly less complex Android.

Well I mostly meant that it looks like, out of fear that Vision having the infinity stone puts him in danger, it looks like Shuri and banner will attempt to remove it without harming vision. I feel theyโd be better off letting him fight it out, but whatever happens Iโll enjoy watching this epic movie regardless

I feel ya, Iโm just not sure how easy in general it will be to hide any of them (by itself or with an owner). I mean, it seems like Thanos knows the location of every stone. Idk how, but he seemingly does. The collector didnโt even have his stone for very long, but thanos knew
