I mean, the build got a little better in some ways, because Mama Bear gives +5/+5 now. Kittens+two khadgar or golden khadgar effectively multiplies buffs from Mama by 6, so with one Mama, you get 32/32 kittens, with two mamas (or a golden) 62/62 kittens. With one golden one non-golden mama 92/92 kittens. And double golden mama makes 122/122 kittens.
I think the real killer, though, is that the tier 6 pool is also a lot bigger now, which makes it considerably harder to find Mama off of triples. And the number of copies of tier 1 minions has been reduced as well (used to be 18 copies of each tier 1 minion, now 16) so it's going to be a little harder to find Alley Cat by rolling as well.
