[1]So i did the golden cow king post yesterday and i decided to go for golden vs golden.
When i finally pulled it out with mirror entity, it summoned a golden portal AND a non-golden portal on their side ... wtf ?
It ended up giving them the golden cow king then they turned into a normal cow king.
Fuck what do i do now ? I could go for Double Echo of Medivh to get Sylvanas back and try to snipe the normal portal from them and try to send it back to my hand with a brewmaster but that's just way too much.
My closest attempt before this one was having the Wailing Soul AS MY LAST CARD in my deck. I had 3 cards left and couldn't wait anymore or i would die so i used an Arcane intellect ... and triggered the 9 card secret by accident, i forgot to check this one. So 1 card left and i still didn't draw the wailing soul while having the perfect setup with no minions on their side. Sad face.

I summoned a Summoning stone with a fireland portal.
I used frostball to control and got a corrupted nat paggle ... i killed it with an other frostbolt and got another Corrupted paggle. FOR REAL??
He then proceeded to draw an extra card 3 turns in a row so he never wanted to play the iceblock i gave him so the 2nd portal doesn't appear. Ran into fatigue and died ...

Try running a silence and silence the non-golden version, or can it only be silenced with mass silences?

Have we tried Shadowform Cow King? Not sure if the AI would play that card if we put it in his hand with Cho. Getting yourself to Shadowform Cow King would be a real challenge.

I don't think he would play it. I saw him discard a Sir finley with soul fire, he probably got it with dark peddler but he didn't use it at all.

Things on the board without Deathrattle: Resummon are going to be destroyed by the twisting nether effect. Your hand gets replaced by Hell Bovines. So no, that wouldn't work. Only Cho and maybe getting portal as a playable minion from the hand.

OP, do exactly what you did here, except give him TWO secrets and hope he plays both. That way you can trigger mirror without it spawning a non-golden portal. You can see for a split second you were golden vs golden, but the non-golden activated after.

Has no-one realised the reason it summons a normal one? It's because you activate his last secret, the event which causes a portal to appear. Then, they activate in the order they were created, i.e. non golden first. If you can give him a golden portal without cho handing him a secret, you can set up gold vs. gold.

I believe that if you had siphoned his normal portal instead of yours, you'd have been golden vs golden, since they seem to trigger in the order they were summoned.
