It's (probably) a reference to [[Anyfin Can Happen]]. Though it supposedly summons seven random murlocs, the art shows six. Someone joked that the seventh murloc is taking the picture. Since Zoobot buffs murlocs, but no murlocs are shown, the joke is that the murloc is now taking Zoobot's picture.
Probably not, it's more likely that it will be as if you dust the copies you actually have, i.e. you will lose your cards.
It happened to me now but I didn't check if it actually show up in my collection, I merely got the unlock message, then I restarted the game and the collection was normal.

I came here searching for this answer. Though, never having completed (or started) Blackrock, I only got the LoE cards again.
I was somewhat worried/prepared to be pissed...it was only yesterday I spent the final 700 gold and won the last set of cards in LoE. If they were being handed out free today, that would have ruffled my feathers. But since you got both expansions, and I assume you had already won them all from your phrasing, it seems it was just re-rewarding what we've earned. Not handing out free stuff.

Did you actually get an extra set of those cards? Because there is a known issue where sometimes the "reward" popup for random things happens again unexpectedly. But it usually doesn't actually grant the rewards twice, it's just showing the notification again.
It's interesting, when I unlocked captain's parrot back in the day, the reward thing popped up three times. Sure enough, when I checked the collection I had 6. After my first game after that (obviously playing pirate rogue), I received another 2 parrots. I then had 8 in the collection. I restarted hearthstone and sadly I had only 2 remaining.

That was a synchronization issue. Your client thought you got more cards from the reward, but once you restarted it resynced with the server and you really only had the two.

It would have been fine and flavorful if it came out in WotOG. But when you're only getting 3 cards and none of them are the ones priests need right now..
Not to mention that the cards in WotOG were respectively- a 6 mana unsupported win condition legendary, a 2 mana combo piece epic, an any mana card that's technically 8 mana but we can panic play it earlier if we want epic, and six commons and rares that were equally divided among four and five mana, four minions equally split, and two spells also equally split. Kara following this up with- a 2 mana combo piece, a four cost minion, and a five cost minion is a bit odd
No Im saying that many people are claiming the expansion to be bad just because of 1 bad card. Whether it be the sub or not. Even my friends say that. Sub is always shit theres nothing weird about that.

Ok just going to resound what all of my MTG-playing friends, as well as Trump, have said: if Purify cost zero it would be fucking busted, because 0 mana cycle is inherently busted. It would be one of the strongest cards in Priest, even with the "downside" of having to silence one of your own creatures (that's sometimes an upside). Zero mana cycle is the reason Miracle Rogue is a good deck, and that requires 6 mana of preperation to get- Zero Mana cycle is so inherently nuts that MIRACLE DRUID is a thing explicitly for the purpose of procing Gadgetzan Auctioneer with Innervate and MOONFIRE.
What I'm trying to say is that if it cost zero every priest deck would be forced to run it because it would be an absolutely insane card, especially since priest is, by design, limited in their card draw options.
I think it should been something like "1 mana silence a minion. If the target is yours, draw a card".
1 mana draw is pretty strong, but you need to play a minion, if you hope to draw a answer with an empty board. Also Priest doesnt want to silence most of his minions (buff class, stuff like cleric or the legendaries), so you kinda need to make a compromise.
Would be a flexible and strong card, but wouldnt make Priest suddenly god class.
Brode said that when it was just "1 mana silence a friendly minion, draw a card" it was too strong and was working its way into decks with no synergy just for the sake of card draw, which isn't what they wanted the card used for.
So giving it flexibility on top of that would probably be too much.
Should Priest be the worst class for drawing cards though? We don't currently have a Miracle Priest deck in the Meta, which tends to be the style of deck that looks for as much cycle as possible.
0 mana Purify is a little ridiculous, but it still feels over-budget at 2 mana. It should probably have either dropped the limitation and stayed 2 mana, or kept it and had the cost reduced to 1-mana.

Okay so I just got the update and when I logged in, I got the "reward!" Screen popping up and it one-by-one showed a reward of me receiving every single Naxxaramus card (which I already have)
Did this happen for anyone else? Wondering if it was a glitch or if we're all being given a Naxx set? Maybe its just for those who don't have it. I thought "jackpot" I'll have 2 sets of Naxx and can get a ton of dust but they haven't showed up in my collection yet.

I think it has something to do with data on the server getting set wrong the first time you won those cards and thus it thinks you still need to see the notifications again. Something like that. It occasionally happens to me for various daily quests. Like, I'll beat a quest, then the next game it'll say I finished it again even though I already had finished it in the previous game.
It happened for me with League of Explorers, but I recently dusted the Naga Sea Witch and it appeared as not in the collection even after my "Reward", so no I don't think we get a double dose of cards unfortunately.
I logged in to do my daily quest and the box popped up saying I had just completed the tavern brawl quest and then another one informing I got my 10 gold for three wins. I restarted twice but quest log was still empty. I can't remember my gold count to check if it credited gold or not.

Try to change the time in the windows clock and see if you can buy it. The older expansions you could do this and buy all the wings with Gold, but you could not open them.

Dunno about you guys, but the game seems to be running way smoother for me after this patch.
Before this, when I would first go to my collection, it would take 5-10 seconds to load, and turning pages would take 1-2 seconds to load, and sometimes it would lag. Everything is really fast now, I like it

All my rewards for clearing former adventures popped up. For a second I thought they gave me another major domo after I already disenchanted it, no of course it was just an update bug.
No you can't make that assumption, because usually the only option to buy the entire adventure in the first week is with cash, not gold. The gold purchase option typically only becomes available when the wing is unlocked (one wing is unlocked every week).
Every other time that an adventure has been released it has been impossible to pay for a wing with gold before it unlocks, so it will probably be impossible to buy wings 2-4 with gold until after the week where you can get the card back has passed. Which is kind of a roundabout way of saying that you DO need to buy it with real money.

For me it started almost immediately, but I have experienced this same issue you mentioned before. Usually, I just wait around 30-40 minutes and when I get back to check it, it's already downloading.

Does this mean that this notorious bug is finally fixed? Since it's so hard to reproduce we'll just have to wait and see if someone reports it happening again, but if it is fixed that's great news.
I would like to think after this long it would mean so, except it also happens with spells, and not only minions, so let's just keep our fingers crossed that they just mistermed it in the patch log.
It's always around 1.5GB. Even if an entire adventure is downloaded within the patch, you would not even notice it unless you check the game files. This could lead to some surprise Party events or sth
So it say's nothing about the wings beeing released weekly? Are they dropping the whole adventure on release day this time around? Would be a nice suprise!
yah that is true, hitting a high value small guy, Northshire, acolyte of pain. totally clunky and circumstantial. I think there is something cool in there in a slow game, but it is probably way too slow
The bug that caused opponents in arena to be shown as unknown has now been resolved. It was no big deal for us normal players but it prevented quite a great number of people from sniping as they wouldn't know whom they were playing against unless they were already watching the stream.
Its kind of crap, theres no real purpose to knowing your arena opponents name in game.
As long as you could still see them in last opponent after the game it was a perfect situation. Oh well, kripp will go back to hilarious rants about sniping.

Not to mention that the cards in WotOG were respectively- a 6 mana unsupported win condition legendary, a 2 mana combo piece epic, an any mana card that's technically 8 mana but we can panic play it earlier if we want epic, and six commons and rares that were equally divided among four and five mana, four minions equally split, and two spells also equally split. Kara following this up with- a 2 mana combo piece, a four cost minion, and a five cost minion is a bit odd

Ok just going to resound what all of my MTG-playing friends, as well as Trump, have said: if Purify cost zero it would be fucking busted, because 0 mana cycle is inherently busted. It would be one of the strongest cards in Priest, even with the "downside" of having to silence one of your own creatures (that's sometimes an upside). Zero mana cycle is the reason Miracle Rogue is a good deck, and that requires 6 mana of preperation to get- Zero Mana cycle is so inherently nuts that MIRACLE DRUID is a thing explicitly for the purpose of procing Gadgetzan Auctioneer with Innervate and MOONFIRE.
What I'm trying to say is that if it cost zero every priest deck would be forced to run it because it would be an absolutely insane card, especially since priest is, by design, limited in their card draw options.

I think it should been something like "1 mana silence a minion. If the target is yours, draw a card".
1 mana draw is pretty strong, but you need to play a minion, if you hope to draw a answer with an empty board. Also Priest doesnt want to silence most of his minions (buff class, stuff like cleric or the legendaries), so you kinda need to make a compromise.
Would be a flexible and strong card, but wouldnt make Priest suddenly god class.

Brode said that when it was just "1 mana silence a friendly minion, draw a card" it was too strong and was working its way into decks with no synergy just for the sake of card draw, which isn't what they wanted the card used for.
So giving it flexibility on top of that would probably be too much.

Should Priest be the worst class for drawing cards though? We don't currently have a Miracle Priest deck in the Meta, which tends to be the style of deck that looks for as much cycle as possible.
0 mana Purify is a little ridiculous, but it still feels over-budget at 2 mana. It should probably have either dropped the limitation and stayed 2 mana, or kept it and had the cost reduced to 1-mana.

Okay so I just got the update and when I logged in, I got the "reward!" Screen popping up and it one-by-one showed a reward of me receiving every single Naxxaramus card (which I already have)
Did this happen for anyone else? Wondering if it was a glitch or if we're all being given a Naxx set? Maybe its just for those who don't have it. I thought "jackpot" I'll have 2 sets of Naxx and can get a ton of dust but they haven't showed up in my collection yet.

Didn't happen for me.
There is a known issue where sometimes the "reward" popup for random things happens again unexpectedly. But it usually doesn't actually grant the rewards twice, it's just showing the notification again.
I think it has something to do with data on the server getting set wrong the first time you won those cards and thus it thinks you still need to see the notifications again. Something like that. It occasionally happens to me for various daily quests. Like, I'll beat a quest, then the next game it'll say I finished it again even though I already had finished it in the previous game.

I logged in to do my daily quest and the box popped up saying I had just completed the tavern brawl quest and then another one informing I got my 10 gold for three wins. I restarted twice but quest log was still empty. I can't remember my gold count to check if it credited gold or not.

Dunno about you guys, but the game seems to be running way smoother for me after this patch.
Before this, when I would first go to my collection, it would take 5-10 seconds to load, and turning pages would take 1-2 seconds to load, and sometimes it would lag. Everything is really fast now, I like it

No you can't make that assumption, because usually the only option to buy the entire adventure in the first week is with cash, not gold. The gold purchase option typically only becomes available when the wing is unlocked (one wing is unlocked every week).

Every other time that an adventure has been released it has been impossible to pay for a wing with gold before it unlocks, so it will probably be impossible to buy wings 2-4 with gold until after the week where you can get the card back has passed. Which is kind of a roundabout way of saying that you DO need to buy it with real money.

Yes but at that point why not play faceless manipulator or shambler?
You could swap stats with a tiny minion and then silence the darkspeaker, giving you two 3/6s. Even this feels pretty clunky tho.

yah that is true, hitting a high value small guy, Northshire, acolyte of pain. totally clunky and circumstantial. I think there is something cool in there in a slow game, but it is probably way too slow

The bug that caused opponents in arena to be shown as unknown has now been resolved. It was no big deal for us normal players but it prevented quite a great number of people from sniping as they wouldn't know whom they were playing against unless they were already watching the stream.

Its kind of crap, theres no real purpose to knowing your arena opponents name in game.
As long as you could still see them in last opponent after the game it was a perfect situation. Oh well, kripp will go back to hilarious rants about sniping.

Was in arena (lethal next turn), the game disconnected, never got the chance to reconnectwhile client opened, then I close the game, then 1,6GB update. Never lucky
