Microsoft Word keeps suggesting that I use "concise language", but if I do, I won't be able to reach my word goal.

Donโ€™t let Microsoft Word dictate how you write this document. Itโ€™s not its document, itโ€™s yours!

Be as inconcise as you want to be!!

Do not simply let Microsoft Office's word processor, Microsoft Word, dictate how or how not to write your own document. It is not actually Microsoft Word's document, it belongs to you, and only you!

Fixed that for you.

Fixed that 'Fixed that for you' for you.

Rather than going along with what the word processor of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, part of the Office 365 arsenal of office software, dictates how you should or should not write, you should write or not write the way you want, or do not want, your document to be. The document, on which you are writing, does not belong to the Microsoft Office word processor, Microsoft Word, it belongs to you, and only you!

Fixed that "fixed that 'fixed that for you'" for you.

You may find, at times, that the proscribed solutions given by any particular software designed for the stated goal

of proofreading a work may have values that do not align with the aim of the author at all times, indeed, the

aforementioned software may likely have been designed in such a way as to infer that one direction is the most

desirable, and yet you, as the author, have obviously determined a goal of verbosity of language that the software

itself cannot be aware of, because the software was not told that the author has to illuminate a reader on the

various intricacies of a dangle, or a wiffle, or a whosiwhatsit, an item of action which in brevity could most likely be

described henceforth by no greater than ten words together, but as we all know, sometimes one must explain a

thing in no less than two hundred and fifty words, double spaced, in Times New Roman, font size twelve.

tl:dr- Just type out whatever you need to, software be damned.

Not sure actual double spacing will play nice, since the live preview isn't live-sized... but here goes!

People who set minimum word counts for things are basically evil assholes.

Don't worry, I was stuck on that for a bit too.

You'll likely find that as you develop as a writer, you'll begin to have trouble staying within the word limit than reaching it, and this stylistic guideline will become more useful.

"Carpet is a soft material usually laid on floors of houses to offer a soft material on which to walk. My grandma's carpet is really ugly. Carpet slowly goes darker as time goes by, but you don't realise it until you see the carpet underneath the sofa or the bed and it's like really soft and a little bit lighter... Umm... Lesbian munch it.,"

Instead of using more words to say something, why not have more to say?

What about when you've said everything you can though?
