This reminds me of my Aunt when she had her first born. Every 4 weeks like clockwork there would be a post on Facebook celebrating her kid aging another month. It was only until she started to get near the 12 month mark that she realized by the time he came up to his 1st birthday he'd be 13 months old in her terms.

It's exhausting. Early on, someone just needed to point out that if you want to work out 4x per week, every week, you're going to have back-to-back work out days at a point. Or, if you want to work out 3x per week, you'll end up with more than one rest day in between at a point. Hmm, what's the solution? Well, you could work out 4x one week and 3x the next. Incredibly, that puts you working out exactly one day on, one day off. Then again, if the calendar didn't clear things up, this explanation might not have, either.
This is an insane example of bad communicate where no one actually understands each other. One guy says he wants to work out every other day. This disregards how many days are in a week completely because he is just going by days. And yet everyone else gets all technical when it is clear what he was trying to say. And the WHOLE problem is the vague use of "every other day of the week" and everyone fails to clarify what this even means.
Ok so. I only skimmed and I did not notice this until you pointed it out. But also to be fair I was not saying he was not an idiot. Just trying to see his side.
No he's not, he's working out 4 times every other 7 days. Look at his second week:
Sunday: off
Monday: on
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: on
Thursday: off
Friday: on
Saturday: off
7 days, 3 sessions. Even though he says that week starts on a Monday, which doesn't make any sense because that's 8 days from the start of the previous week.
His weeks simply conform to the 'Every Other Day' pattern of his exercise plan, in which every day has an 'Off' day afterwards. That's why it jumps from Saturday to Monday.
It measures weeks according to his schedule by span of days - vs something that starts on a monday. However, it's a confusing conversation and you may be right. To my eye, it's a thread full of people arguing over which end of an egg to crack first. That characteristic edgy BBF frankness - which can sometimes be fun - does not allow them to communicate something so simple between each other.
I think I get where the dumb ass is coming from? He seems to think that the OP is counting each week separately while the other guy is thinking daily (like every other normal human)
Although that is after only reading half of the first page of that thread, I have no idea how deep that rabbit hole goes, anyway, its kind of interesting to think about how someone could actually be that stupid.

Edit: If your week starts on a sunday, it stops on a saturday, since when it goes to sunday again, a new week is born. Therefor you can't use the last sunday since that is the start of the third week and thus stepping away from the original point: 7 workouts in two weeks.

I reject the premise of the question though. He clearly specifies "tip to tip". The maximum height in this orientation is 24 inches. Now, if you were to lay them horizontally so that the tips touched, the question is now dependent on girth, which remains unknown.

Basically OP of the thread is intentionally being silly cause the point of the thread game was to guess his height based on questions. The other guy asked a question with a specific measurement which would end the thread if the OP answered it.
It's not that they were joking, it's that they wanted to play a game where you asked him questions and he answered. He didn't like the game being broken by simply asking him "how tall are you," so he answered in a way that he felt was within the rules of the game, i.e., it's based on his experience. He wanted questions about his experiences.

I know right, I used to talk with a person who was 19 hours ahead in time zone, and whenever I would talk I could easily convert to her time in mind by subtracting five (as I didnโt care about the actuate date). I am a giant. I use imperial more than metric. I'm deffinately 6'9". I do t drive because I can't fit behind the wheel of a conventional car so I've never been able to get a licence.

It depends on who is doing the measuring. Is it a insecure man with a lifted truck, small hands, small foriegn car with coffee can muffler, or other wise boastful individual? Then about 3 to 4 tall.
Does anyone else find that there are a lot more people worried about what other people's cars "say about them" than there are people who truly fit that stereotype? But the relation between inches and feet is completely arbitrary, there's no way to figure it out except for being told by somebody who knows. Even the Sherlock-style deductions are mostly based on logic, although not certain conclusions but probabalistic ones. This connection is just completely random, like you can't figure out someone's name by just seeing what they look like.
Sherlock Holmes claims to do deduction (general to specific) but he doesn't. All of his reasoning is inductive (specific to general). Most detective work is inductive: piecing together small elements to determine the larger whole.

As an expert dildoist, I feel I have to weigh in. Twelve inch dildos are almost exclusively made of either silicone or rubber. Its very unlikely you would be able to find twelve dildos that wouldnt compress or bend under the weight of one another.
Therefore if you stack 12 inch dildos atop each other they will always be LESS than their total height unless you provide support via some kind of scaffolding, which isn't hinted at anywhere in the question.
This is a case where you would have to try it to know for sure. There's just no way of knowing.

Technically, due to the density difference, the feathers would take up a greater volume, which means that if they were piled up, the higher part of the feathers would be less affected by the earth's gravity, so would weigh very very slightly less. As you can tell, I'm a fun guy at parties ;)

This reminds me of my Aunt when she had her first born. Every 4 weeks like clockwork there would be a post on Facebook celebrating her kid aging another month. It was only until she started to get near the 12 month mark that she realized by the time he came up to his 1st birthday he'd be 13 months old in her terms.
The amount of restraint the rest of the family had for the entire time was amazing. I'm still totally not sure why we didn't just correct her but watching it play out was a hell of a lot funnier.

It's exhausting. Early on, someone just needed to point out that if you want to work out 4x per week, every week, you're going to have back-to-back work out days at a point. Or, if you want to work out 3x per week, you'll end up with more than one rest day in between at a point. Hmm, what's the solution? Well, you could work out 4x one week and 3x the next. Incredibly, that puts you working out exactly one day on, one day off. Then again, if the calendar didn't clear things up, this explanation might not have, either.

This is an insane example of bad communicate where no one actually understands each other. One guy says he wants to work out every other day. This disregards how many days are in a week completely because he is just going by days. And yet everyone else gets all technical when it is clear what he was trying to say. It measures weeks according to his schedule by span of days - vs something that starts on a monday. However, it's a confusing conversation and you may be right. Edit: If your week starts on a sunday, it stops on a saturday, since when it goes to sunday again, a new week is born. Therefor you can't use the last sunday since that is the start of the third week and thus stepping away from the original point: 7 workouts in two weeks.

Does anyone else find that there are a lot more people worried about what other people's cars "say about them" than there are people who truly fit that stereotype? Even the Sherlock-style deductions are mostly based on logic, although not certain conclusions but probabalistic ones. As an expert dildoist, I feel I have to weigh in. Twelve inch dildos are almost exclusively made of either silicone or rubber. Its very unlikely you would be able to find twelve dildos that wouldnt compress or bend under the weight of one another.
