That's a great quote by Richard Feynman.

If you haven't read his biographies, you should. I highly recommend them.

Feynman was one of the greatest and most underrated scientists and science communicators ever. I would give a lot just to spend an hour talking to him over dinner.

The thing is, most of his work is kind of obscure. He did path integrals (which don't have much use in undergrad quantum) and feynman diagrams (which you would only see in particle physics or maybe as a blip in modern physics). His nobel prize winning research was in QED, which most physics students will never encounter, even in grad school.

Hi fellow physicist.

Well, in the physics world he's considered on par with Einstein, Newton, and Tesla. But yes, more people should read his stuff. Personally I think Dirac is underrated.

Right up there with Sagan and My man Tyson

His Youtube snippets and lectures are totally worth the time.

Feynman was incredible. He was able to demonstrate (with a simple example) the flaws in the O-ring when the Challenger exploded 30-plus years ago. Such a great scientist, with equally great integrity.

Are you sure this isn't a quote from the movie "Mystery Men?"
