Mormon leader confirms they are following satan's plan.

Elder Lynn G. Robins in a talk at BYU talked about Satan's plan for deceiving people in the latter days. He said this:

If Satan wanted to boil a frog, he wouldnโ€™t put it in a pan of hot waterโ€”it would instinctively jump. His strategy would be to put it in cold water, because that is what the frog is used to. He would then turn on the heat, unbeknownst to the frog. Satan would make sure that the temperature rose so gradually that the frog would never notice it change from cold to cool, from cool to tepid, from tepid to warm, from warm to hot, from hot to energy-sapping hot, and from there to boiling.

Elder Robins confirms that Satan will not shock your system all at once but will slowly raise the temperature on you until you are clearly ensnared by him.

Then here is the mormon plan for teaching the gospel to its members straight from the scriptures. D&C 19, which says:

For they cannot bear meat now, but milk they must receive; wherefore, they must not know these things, lest they perish.

The good old mormon plan of teaching the gospel, milk before meat, turns out to be the exact same plan mormons teach is Satan's plan.

Thank you Elder Robbins for confirming what us post mormons already know.

Wow, when you look at it that way, that is exactly what they are doing, basically leading its members "carefully down to hell".

And the sad thing is that the mormon God is in on it as well.

This scripture in D&C 19 is God's voice telling Martin Harris to not let people know that Hell would actually end for most people, contrary to what was taught in the BOM, which teaches a literal hell.

God says they shouldn't know these things (hell ends) right now, unless they perish.

I guess they didn't have to wait very long, because God gave Joseph section 76 within a few years of this revelation and broke the news to everyone about hell ending.

Try the frog trick and watch it jump out as the water temperature rises. Nothing but a lie just like "eye of the needle" entrance to Jerusalem. Religion thrives on lies.

Why wouldn't L-d$,inc follow Satan's plan. The Temple teaches us he is the God of This World - and since no one can possibly live up to every promise made in "this temple, this day" we are in his power.

L-d$,inc firmly believes the first principal of the Gospel is "You can buy anything in this world for money" - and they actively practice it.

There's more to the frog thing than most people know. The original experiment was designed to figure out the location of the soul in the body, and the results showed a rather fascinating thing about automatic responses.

So the first step in this experiment was to remove the frogs brain. Because that may be where the soul actually is. Frogs with brains, as you noted, will always jump out by the time the water reaches 25C.

Brainless frogs will do the same if the temperature rises too quickly. So the way to boil a brainless TBM frog is slowly.

Please could you clarify what you mean by this? (Genuinely interested in how this is a lie.)

Some say it is a mistranslation and some a misinterpretation.

From wiki

Cyril of Alexandria claimed that "camel" is a Greek misprint; that kamรชlos (camel) was a misprint of kamilos, meaning "rope" or "cable".

Gate
The "Eye of the Needle" has been claimed to be a gate in Jerusalem, which opened after the main gate was closed at night. A camel could only pass through this smaller gate if it was stooped and had its baggage removed. This story has been put forth since at least the 15th century, and possibly as far back as the 9th century. However, there is no widely accepted evidence for the existence of such a gate. There is actually a small gate in Jerusalem called "eye of a needle". It can be found in the Russian Church, in the Old City of Jerusalem, but was built in the 16th century, and clearly has nothing to do with this passage.

Thanks, yet another example of something being thoroughly researched by the church(!)

This makes so much more sense. Getting a rope through the eye of a needle. Pretty damn hard! This seems more like the kind of analogy Jeebers would have used. Thank you for that!

Moreover; the Frog in Boiling Water analogy is a Myth and has been debunked several times.

And this is a good catch on your part.

The thing about Masonic based groups like this who believe in subverting free will, there are universal laws that they believe can't be broken, those laws require them to disclose their plans in "plain sight" but obscure and vague enough that they are able to fool the sheep, while telling their game plan. They believe that's how their "Magic" works.

urbanaut ยท 8 points ยท Posted at 15:03:51 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

Not only that, but Mormons are taught that Satan's plan limited free will to the point where we would always choose "good." Sounds a lot like how the Church operates.

koryface ยท 10 points ยท Posted at 15:41:13 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

BYU definitely operates this way. They hold your future hostage to make you follow the rules. What 's the eternal value of making "righteous" decisions if you were coerced into them?

warrig ยท 7 points ยท Posted at 17:59:19 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

Members love to talk about agency, but if your only choice is "follow us and our rules or be condemned," what kind of choice is that? My mom used to use this analogy "you can choose your actions but not your consequences; just like you can choose not to wear a coat when it's snowing, but you'll be cold as a consequence." Yeah, because that's exactly like eternal punishment...

americanfark ยท 6 points ยท Posted at 15:31:53 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

On October 25, 1966, Ezra Benson gave a BYU devotional entitled "Our Immediate Responsibility". In that speech he related and experience where he spent a half day hosting Khrushchev when he visited the U.S. He said Khrushchev, "in substance", made the following statement:

You Americans are so gullible. No you wonโ€™t accept Communism outright, but weโ€™ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until youโ€™ll finally wake up and you find you already have Communism. We wonโ€™t have to fight you. Weโ€™ll so weaken your economy until you fall like over-ripe fruit into our hands.

The irony of this statement is that is exactly the same approach the church is trying to take with the whole "innoculation" effort. Look what happens when you replace "Communism" with "Joe Smith's Con":

"You Mormons are so gullible. No you wonโ€™t accept Joseph Smith's Con outright, but weโ€™ll keep feeding you small doses of Joseph Smith's Con until youโ€™ll finally wake up and you find you already have Joseph Smith's Con. We wonโ€™t have to fight you. Weโ€™ll so weaken your economy until you fall like over-ripe fruit into our hands."

I think the real question here is: Why does Satan want a boiled frog?

DoubtingThomas50 ยท 5 points ยท Posted at 17:56:46 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

I will repeat what I just wrote on another thread:

Milk before meat? Fuck that. I'm a carnivore for truth and frankly, I'm lactose intolerant, especially for dairy full of bullshit.

koryface ยท 4 points ยท Posted at 15:37:23 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

Inoculation works the same way.

Here, read some very apologetic and carefully worded essays. "Thanks, These really assuaged my doubts". Oh, here's a tidbit about a seer stone. "I've always known about that".

By giving little bits of information slowly over time, the shock of finding all of it out at once reduces greatly.

hotexmogirl ยท 3 points ยท Posted at 16:45:47 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

He does know this is complete bullshit right? A frog will jump out of the water when it reaches an uncomfortable level - 100% of the time.

SOOOOOOOOOO, what he is saying is that Mormons are not as bright as frogs?

[deleted] ยท 3 points ยท Posted at 17:31:06 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

I said it once and I'll say it again. It sounds exactly like the temple video when Satan talks to the audience about receiving the message and he says very well except for these people don't want to believe what is being said. That really got me. And the fact that I saw that so clearly and yet most TBM won't, is what kind of amazes me.

Time for me to post this comment again:

Milk Before Meat = Boiling Frog

Mistakes of Men/Don't focus on the bad = A Little Bit of Poop in the Brownies

Speaking as a Man/ leaders aren't perfect = Philosophies of Men Mingled with Scripture

BYU Honor Code/exact obedience = a wicked and slothful servant must be lead in all things/Satan's Plan

True to the Faith = Foolish Traditions of their Fathers

Temple Endowment, signs, tokens = Secret Combination

[deleted] ยท 2 points ยท Posted at 15:48:51 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

Well, why mess up a perfectly good and effective plan?

Mental gymnastics - God came up with it first, Satan just borrowed and twisted it (even though the model is exactly the same).

Another example that is rather prevalent here in Utah: preach free will, but legislate morals. It constantly amazes me that the TBMs can't see the blatant hypocrisy.

Low hanging fruit example: https://www.thrillist.com/drink/nation/utah-s-weird-liquor-laws-3-2-beer-zion-curtains-no-happy-hours-thrillist-nation

Last time I heard the missionary discussions (not all that long ago), they were still teaching that the stifling of free will was part of Satan's plan.

Btw for anyone into science, you actually cannot boil a frog like this and it has been proven wrong many times. The frog will jump out just like any other animal.

TheNewNameIsGideon ยท 2 points ยท Posted at 21:15:29 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

Glenn Beck did this trick on TV once. You see him throw the frog in the water and later floating. You never see them swimming though. Many offended viewers wrote or called in to complain. Glenn had to retract his theatrics by explaining it was...

a plastic frog.

I love the opening line "if Satan wanted to boil a frog..."

cinepro ยท 1 points ยท Posted at 17:48:15 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

I've never understood that analogy. Obviously, if the pan is shallow enough for the frog to jump out of, he's going to jump out of it (probably long before the water changes temperature)! If the water it too deep, then there's nothing it can do. The idea that the rate of temperature change has anything to do with it is absurd.

Lovelylennox ยท 1 points ยท Posted at 18:27:55 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

charliebillnelson ยท 1 points ยท Posted at 19:37:30 on June 22, 2016 ยท (Permalink)

If Satan had a plan to destroy the agency of man, he would have refused to tempt anyone from day one. Once our heads are clear of possible actions that would oppose God's will, man has no choice and God becomes King of the dictatorship similar to the Celestial Kingdom he's trying so hard to sell us on.
