In truth, I wasn't sure about that placement. It seems like too many commas. I thought about it too much and triggered grammatical satiation so now I'm totally lost.

In fairness, my girlfriend always wants to cuddle up under the covers because she's cold and I run hot. I'm on board for about 20 seconds before it's too hot and I have to roll over and get at least partially out of the covers. I never make it her problem though, that's just weird.
This is my husband and I. He runs super hot and I run super cold. We keep the apartment about 69 degrees F (when we are being sedentary, we cool it down a few degrees if we are doing something active), because that is about the only temperature we can both barely tolerate. At 69 degrees, he's hanging around without a shirt, bitching about how sweaty he feels; at 69, I'm wearing socks, sweat pants, a sweat shirt, and a blanket around my shoulders, bitching about how I can't get warm.
The same in bed. I wear a ton of clothing to bed and sleep with two blankets, he wears almost nothing and doesn't even use a sheet. And I apparently chase him around the bed in my sleep, probably in an attempt to leech his heat.
Almost never bad advice. But I think most of the problem is that he is a bigger guy and I'm hypothyroid; we will probably always conflict on temperature.

It helps to make thermostat to lower temperature after you fall asleep. Mine's set to keep 68 at the time we go to bed and then, after 11:30 it sets it to 65.
Heh, our thermostat is, unfortunately, not that fancy. We often bump the temp down when we go to bed, but it doesn't really resolve the baseline problem. It helps him sleep, but I'm often sleeping with a heating pad just to get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
If I had my druthers ... at 75F I would be able to trade my sweats and blanket in for regular clothing. Unfortunately, he gets straight up miserable once the temperature creeps above 73F or so (our AC kinda sucks, so that happens in the summer, regardless of what the thermostat is set for). Like, incredibly cranky miserable. So I deal. The trade off is that I wear the frumpiest of frumpy clothing around the apartment, though. :P

My ex-girlfriend and I had completely opposite body temps. She runs hot and sleeps under all of one blanket with her legs sticking out to keep cool. I sleep under two comforters and a thick throw blanket while also wearing pajamas because it makes a nice cozy den of warm. Sometimes I would scooch up close to her to steal her warmth.

My post was to point out that cops really don't give a shit for the most part but once your phone starts buzzing during an arrest/search and the blatantly see that you are involved with the distribution of drugs they automatically bump it up a notch. They are now going to interrogate you about your supplier, how much you sell, and probably nab you for whatever they were initially going to charge you with plus all the small shit they can tack on unless you talk. Sending texts for drug sales is one of the most absolutely dumbest things you can do, it immediately incriminates you and the person selling. Just don't do it period.

This is my husband and I. He runs super hot and I run super cold. We keep the apartment about 69 degrees F (when we are being sedentary, we cool it down a few degrees if we are doing something active), because that is about the only temperature we can both barely tolerate. At 69 degrees, he's hanging around without a shirt, bitching about how sweaty he feels; at 69, I'm wearing socks, sweat pants, a sweat shirt, and a blanket around my shoulders, bitching about how I can't get warm.
The same in bed. I wear a ton of clothing to bed and sleep with two blankets, he wears almost nothing and doesn't even use a sheet. And I apparently chase him around the bed in my sleep, probably in an attempt to leech his heat.

It helps to make thermostat to lower temperature after you fall asleep. Mine's set to keep 68 at the time we go to bed and then, after 11:30 it sets it to 65.

Heh, our thermostat is, unfortunately, not that fancy. We often bump the temp down when we go to bed, but it doesn't really resolve the baseline problem. It helps him sleep, but I'm often sleeping with a heating pad just to get comfortable enough to fall asleep.

If I had my druthers ... at 75F I would be able to trade my sweats and blanket in for regular clothing. Unfortunately, he gets straight up miserable once the temperature creeps above 73F or so (our AC kinda sucks, so that happens in the summer, regardless of what the thermostat is set for). Like, incredibly cranky miserable. So I deal. The trade off is that I wear the frumpiest of frumpy clothing around the apartment, though. :P

My post was to point out that cops really don't give a shit for the most part but once your phone starts buzzing during an arrest/search and the blatantly see that you are involved with the distribution of drugs they automatically bump it up a notch. They are now going to interrogate you about your supplier, how much you sell, and probably nab you for whatever they were initially going to charge you with plus all the small shit they can tack on unless you talk. Sending texts for drug sales is one of the most absolutely dumbest things you can do, it immediately incriminates you and the person selling. Just don't do it period.

Well, I guess it's a good thing that you don't get to decide what people are or aren't allowed to complain about. Personally, I think it's a good thing that people complain about shitty things that other people do, because it tends to make some people think twice about doing those shitty things.
Also, if people just shut up about things like theft, rape, or harassment whenever they felt partially at fault for getting themselves into the situation in the first place, then people would hardly ever talk about these terrible things. Call me crazy, but I think bringing attention to this shitty behavior is generally beneficial if only for the reason that it raises awareness among people who doubt the prevalence of this sort of behavior.
