I'm actually the CEO of a small tech company.

I wake up usually 15 minutes later I'm answer e-mails/slack/gantt/phone calls. Eat lunch if I can, phone calls and meetings until about 6 then I relax however I want. I takea lot of the calls walking to get in some exercise.

Most real CEO's I know are in meetings about 3-8 hours a day depending, my job is primarily to communicate or if I'm not doing that I'm doing work that helps with communication. Probably the biggest misconception is that CEO's are doing a bunch of work, like hand picking the clothes or whatever.

These are all those fake "entrepreneur lifestyle" type accounts, mindset is important but I kinda liken it to watching cooking shows and thinking you'll become great a cooking. They just sell the lifestyle and frankly it's not nearly as glorious as you think unless 2 hour calls with $800/hr lawyers weekly to go over some contract changes sounds fun.

When this is all said and done I treat myself to a cocktail, because I don’t give a fuck about the pandemic I gotta kick it with the boys, I’ve had a hard day, and I’m successful. Doing these things enables me to work only one day a week and be successful. As long as my mom has a lot of money, my success is ensured.
