In fact comments like mine get people banned so maybe I'll bet banned who knows.

If you want you could try Poal.co , it's probably the best Reddit alternative with a good UI and community. We could certainly use more members too ;) its definitely not as active as reddit but post frequency is fair enough. I'm also surprised by how much the admins interact with everyone so maybe that's a payoff

Pretty much. Reddit is in a sad state. A few months ago I unsubscribed from all of those shitty subreddits. I only leave a few good meme subreddits plus any smaller communities that haven't turned into massive circlejerks.

I loved it. The peak of the sub's hilarity was after the "I'm stuff" meme was banned, and it declined with the Big chungus, Keanu and Wholesome memes.
You spout a dead meme in a satire fashion, it's still just as unfunny as when it was popular. OKBR are literally the blame on why big chungus made a hugely undeserved comeback.
I'd say r/comedyhell is an OK replacement for r/comedyheaven, most of the time there are some pretty good posts but some days there is just shit. It's a double edged sword really

I myself have 15ish active reddit bots right now and theyโre all running on an amazon cloud server that costs like $0.15 cents a month to run.
I would wager that /r/politics comments are 70% bots replying with pre-approved messaging, likely from many different sources, and the rest is dumbass redditor rubes replying to them as if theyโre human.
Disney has bots for sure because they need them to signal boost Disney content. Literally free marketing that idiot redditors will produce for you, or a couple lowly-paid Indonesian โsocial media managersโ that post corporately-approves memes with hidden tags that Reddit bots will know to upvote.
As a proof of concept I created a reddit bot that scans all images in a stream of โhotโ from a certain subreddit, uses AWSโs Rekognition AI to identify if any of these images contain The Hulk, and upvote it if it does.
It costs about $1 a month to run. Literally AI upvote bots for Disney content. Just pay a real dev to extend this to captain America, and the rest of those reddit favorites that Disney wants to signal boost, add a sleep timer to make upvotes look natural, and boom, on demand signal boosts for your companyโs content. For a laughably low price.
This entire site is just a bunch of bots trying to shape the front page to suit corporate marketing goals.

I myself have 15ish active reddit bots right now and theyโre all running on an amazon cloud server that costs like $0.15 cents a month to run.
I would wager that /r/politics comments are 70% bots replying with pre-approved messaging, likely from many different sources, and the rest is dumbass redditor rubes replying to them as if theyโre human.
Disney has bots for sure because they need them to signal boost Disney content. Literally free marketing that idiot redditors will produce for you, or a couple lowly-paid Indonesian โsocial media managersโ that post corporately-approves memes with hidden tags that Reddit bots will know to upvote.
As a proof of concept I created a reddit bot that scans all images in a stream of โhotโ from a certain subreddit, uses AWSโs Rekognition AI to identify if any of these images contain The Hulk, and upvote it if it does.
It costs about $1 a month to run. Literally AI upvote bots for Disney content. Just pay a real dev to extend this to captain America, and the rest of those reddit favorites that Disney wants to signal boost, add a sleep timer to make upvotes look natural, and boom, on demand signal boosts for your companyโs content. For a laughably low price.
This entire site is just a bunch of bots trying to shape the front page to suit corporate marketing goals.

I recently got banned from /r/enoughcommiespam for no reason. Haven't commented in over 20 days.
Mods won't reply, either. My guess is that there is a concerted effort to suppress these subs and their users. Like making a new account is rocket science.
