The exif data is fucked with, you can take any file and apply any date you want to it with the right tools. Funny how explorer lists "tomorrow" for such items though. Wonder if they have "next week" too

maybe connected to VPN in timezone in future - then d/l a file - then switch back off VPN to the original timezone - time travel achieved?

Lol no, i was downloading files at midnight i was about to shutdown system when i noticed it. Trust me there is no vpn or any type of trick involved

That could potentially happen if your PC's time or time zone had been changed after downloading those files (there could be other reasons too).
It shows skilled programming and design, IMO, in that File Explorer gracefully handles the display of an unexpected result.
