I worked at this high-end restaurant for a few years, we did this "throw back to the 80s" menu, which featured baked alaska, crepes suzette, and bananas foster. All of which require tableside flambe.
So we kept just open bottles of 151 and everclear in the pantry window where the desserts came out, and every time someone would order one we'd fill one ramekin with whichever booze, but then fill one for all of us each time also. So when I'd order one, the 2 food runners would have the shots lined up, and I'd run back there to pick up my dessert, we'd all slam it and gag, then I'd run off and try to smile while pouring sweat profusely over a hot flame.
That much 151 and everclear while running around is never a good idea, talk about just hot sweats and feeling terrible. Never stopped us though, free booze you know.
Anyways, every time I see any of those desserts now a days I get a slight gag reflex and cold sweats come on real quick. Like pavlov's drunken dog.

Knowing that you were there I had to take the opportunity to pick your brain about it because a few things didn't add up...like who was funding everything.

I don't like CNN and I get the humor in this, but I actually feel kind of bad for the guy. I think CNN is terrible and it would be a net good if they had to close their doors tomorrow, but I'm not really okay with this kind of emotional cruelty.
I think I'd rather have someone punch me in the face and engage in a fair fight than try emotional manipulation like that on me. And honestly, I also think this is a tactical error. We have the facts on our side. Our strongest weapon is to redpill as many people as possible. This interaction pretty much guaranteed that Jim Acosta is going to be more set in his ways and more ideologically opposed to us than before. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
