Haha. I keep seeing that one as well. Trump made it very clear in the primaries that he is a businessman and as a businessman it made sense to go abroad for some of his businesses. If he didn't do that he would be called a bad businessman. IMO he made the right decisions at the time and now wants to make it competitive in the US again for businesses to come back. He also explains how he will achieve this i.e. cut corporate taxes to be competitive, tariffs, other great shit. NO BRAKES!

This is how dumb these people are: dems love them some taxes, as a result American corporate taxes are the highest in the world, behind Japan. American corporations are basically forced to evolve (survival of the fittest) e.g. They move their manufacturing, tech services, customer services... to countries with no federally mandated minimum wage, simultaneously closing plants, laying off workers... then these corporations are made out to be the bad guys by the same fucking people who forced them out. Typical dem mentality, pay our high taxes even if you can't afford them, if the taxes are going to make your business close its doors just keep paying those taxes until then, post business closure- business is scolded for the layoffs. Just look at the profit margins of massive corporations, they are not making 10000% profits.

Probably not right away, no. Businesses have to do what they have to do to remain profitable. He's proposing to make it profitable for companies to stay in the us so leaving the country is no longer a more profitable option.

Fair enough; however, if you factor in the cost of labor in the US, then continuously having goods produced in other countries benefits the average the US-based consumer, as prices remain low/competitive. Producing in the US comes with a huge labor cost, that eventually gets passed on to the consumer. So, how is what you said to be accomplished?
And also raising taxes on imports or fining companies that move overseas.
Another somewhat related point I want to make since its been in my mind and I have not gotten around to using is that trickle down economics does work, its just that since companies have moved overseas, our money trickles down to people from other countries. By moving companies back here, that money will reinvigorate our economy since we've recently had the slowest GDP growth (1.2%) in 40 years IIRC.
The boats that bring the goods over here don't do it for free it takes a lot of money to transport the goods overseas to us and if made here already domestic shipping is much cheaper so it benefits us to have it made here even with more expensive labor. If corporations weren't taxed more here than anywhere else they would stay but high taxes just means the company relocates out of the U.S. and transports it back to us because they get to keep more of their money that way.
No. The expectation would be to make things competitive (you read the examples of how to achieve this) and it be in his and other companies who have moved abroad best interest to bring business back to USA, as long as it makes sense (as profitable or better). Sure there will be some businesses that being abroad will be best for their company. We just want to compete and not tax corporations so much that it "forces" them elsewhere. High corporate taxes and tons of regulations have "forced" American companies (JOBS) to move abroad. They weren't actually forced, it made sense for their business (bottom line). We are trying to reverse that. We need jobs god damnit.

Now that you mention it, I just realized even those stain colors are analogous to race relations in the US. Because they tend to be more educated, hard working, and law abiding, Asians hardly ever cause any problems in the US. Black and brown people however make up a significant number of crime and violence in the United States.

Now that you mention it, I just realized even those stain colors are analogous to race relations in the US. Because they tend to be more educated, hard working, and law abiding, Asians hardly ever cause any problems in the US.
