Best part of the banner system is putting them all in one place and seeing the list of monsters you're buffed against taking up the whole screen.
So satisfying.
IMO you should only be able to get one banner from each enemy, there's no reason to have 6 or 7 banners from any enemy :)

Hold on, why the downvotes? There are people out there on 1080x1280 resolutions who have 3 columns' worth of enemy buffs on their screen when they mouseover the Banner buff, and you expect a single NPC merchant to sell every last one of those banners? You're trying to tell me that that's downvote worthy, even when NPCs currently only have an inventory screen the size of the old chest space?

I don't agree. If you want to set up a nice Celestial event farm, you will need 4 banners of every mob. That will make things a lot faster ;)
