A few suggestions:

-Include the original, uncut versions of vocal themes present in Smash, even if Smash itself didn't have them, like the Sonic songs and "Ai no Uta (French Ver.)"

-Include themes played in trailers, but not present in the game. Most notably "Opening - Bombing Mission" and "Electric de Chocobo" for FFVII, "Overture" and "Adventure (Symphonic Suite Ver.)" for Dragon Quest, and "Life Will Change (Instrumental)" and "The Spirit" for Persona. There are tons of others.

-Add the original versions of "Beneath the Mask" and "Aria of the Soul" which are in the files for SSBU but go unused.

I strictly only want to use what was in the game, otherwise I'll get more and more requests for songs just tied to the ones in the game, lol. So I can't bend to your first suggestion I'm afraid.

I will look at those unused tracks and consider those trailer songs, since I have the E3 Ultimate theme already. Thanks for the feedback!

An unused version of the Punch Out Jogging music for the Little Mac Smash 4 trailer although some people on youtube recreated it
Peach's Castle Stolen from Mario Galaxy in Rosalina's Smash 4 trailer
Attack of the Airships from Mario Galaxy is used in Bowser Jr.'s Smash 4 trailer
Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla from Mario Galaxy 2 in Bowser Jr's Smash 4 trailer
also the Bowser Jr.'s Airship Flotilla version from Paper Mario Sticker Star was also used in Bowser Jr.'s Smash 4 trailer
Beware of the Forest Mushroom's from Mario RPG was used in Geno's mii costume trailer

Btw: the Tekken theme is from Tekken Tag Tournament 2, but i don't remember which song it was. I'll look the playlist up when i have nore time.

But for the other 3 i have no idea at all, as i never played Tales, Virtua Fighter or Monster Hunter.

Once again, thanks making the collection and keeping it up to date!

What changed in tracks V01 #002-007,106,112; V21 #011,012? I hear only high frequencies in Lifelight when subtracting audio from my older version. I know V21 #011,012 had their tags wrong, but their Audio MD5 didn't match up with my older version either. Besides those I saw V01 #106 was shortened and V25 #005 was extended. Any specific reason for those?

I found one Japanese composer using two different romanized names, Masato Kouda and Masato Coda. This isn't your fault, it's that way in-game, too. There might be others like that, too. While I'd personally want them to match, I don't know how picky you want to be with matching the metadata from Nintendo's credits.

Other things:

Most folders in the zip have a hidden desktop.ini, AlbumArtSmall.jpg, and Folder.jpg in them. The first two don't need to be there and I'm guessing Folder.jpg isn't supposed to be there either.
Vol. 28 - Final Fantasy has a Cover.jpg and folder.jpg that aren't hidden; are they supposed to be there? Along with the above they're all the jpgs in the zip so I would guess not.
Since they announced there'll be more fighters than the five in Challenger Pack 1, maybe rename Volume 37 to 50 to be safe?
All the track file names in Vol. 33 - Dragon Questonly start with one digit, when all other folders start with two or three. I'd streamline numbers from here onward by making all the track file names start with three digits. They'll sort properly on all systems and you won't have to worry about padding later on.
Vol. 01 - Super Smash Bros\covers\ssba_(remix).pngis the only file to break the regex I used for validating images, excluding what I mentioned earlier. It was Vol\. \d\d - [A-Z][ !&()\-0-9A-Z_a-zé]+\\covers\\[a-z][&\-0-9_a-zé]+[0-9a-z](_alt\d|_64|_$p\d$)?(_$(4|64|brawl|melee|U)mix$)?\.png$. If you don't understand regex, throw it in regex101 and it'll break it down and explain what it means.
Vol. 37 - Fanfares\048 Yoshi (64).flac and Vol. 31 - Nintendo & Friends\055. . Wii Shop Channel.flac have typos.
As a personal preference, I'd convert the unicode in 025. Yūyūki Medley, 06. After Burner (∞ Climax Mix), and 17. Sector Ω to latin1 to avoid any file name decoding problems. Unicode is fine to keep in the metadata.
Vol. 31 - Nintendo & Friends\006. Balloon Fight.flac has a typo in the composer metadata field. It leads with an underscore. How'd that happen? lol
There's some metadata fields exist that shouldn't, I think. Some files have DISPLAY ARTIST, ENCODER, GROUPING, ORIGYEAR, PERFORMER, TOOL NAME, and/or TOOL VERSION.
Tracks V37 #077,080,084,088,101 have "Video Game" as the genre instead of "Game".

I figured I'd let you know of a few mistakes I've caught over time. The standalone version of "Blue Skies, White Clouds" (from the Paper Mario Medley), "Ground Theme / Underground Theme", and "The Great Sea / Menu Select", all either don't fade out or fade out well. I've fixed all these myself already, so it's not a huge priority, but I figured I'd let you know. Keep up the good work!

Edit: Been finding more as I've gone further through. Both Kraken Up and Pop Fashion Show have remix art instead of original, Aria of the Soul has original instead of remix art, and the MGS4 Theme of Love art is completely missing.

The Trophy Rush - Fever was one of the new tracks added, and its position at 164 makes sense with regular Trophy Rush at 163, so it looks like the correct solution would be to push the other 164 and all subsequent track numbers up by 1

What color does the background need to be?
How can I get the little lines that are on the other covers onto the logo / terry

I just started patching my collection using the explorables and couldn't help but notice the new presence of Folder.jpg and AlbumArtSmall.jpg files in each of the volumes.

You want to avoid using those files as your files all have unique embedded artwork. Some people may have issues seeing the unique artwork if their players are configured to prefer folder.jpg files, or even worse, the lower quality AlbumArtSmall.jpg files.

When I have some spare time, I'll hunt down any instances of NTSC-PAL localization differences and list them here, for those who want the North American names on their tracks. Some have at least carried over from Smash 4, which should ease the search a bit.^See ^EDIT ¹

[EDIT 1: My assessment was based off my versions from your first, non-anthology upload. I've yet to download this version, but from a few checks of the MEGA folder it seems the job is already done! ~~It appears like the track names were standardized for a single unified English version in-game,~~^See ^EDIT ³ apparently like most other text between Smash 4 and Ultimate save for a choice few localizations (which I've found so far to be Duck Hunt Duo, the Football item, and the StreetPass Quest stage, presumably along with incidental text). Very interesting.]

[EDIT 2: I noticed you tagged the original version of Vs. Parasite Queen with (Metroid Prime) but have not done the same for other original renditions from previous games that did not make the cut for Ultimate, like Wrath of the Reset Bomb and Theme of Solid Snake. Since Parasite Queen seems to be the exception rather than the rule (I've counted six instances total of the latter case) and there's no other original Parasite Queen tracks to distinguish it from, it's probably the only one that ought to be changed.]

[EDIT 3: It looks like I was mistaken (again). Trivia entries on the wiki appear to indicate that certain track localizations have stuck as well, mostly for the ones that mention games that are titled differently between their NTSC and PAL English releases. In that case, thanks! I'd conversely look for the differences on the PAL end for those who want the British names on their tracks, but I don't have ready access to that version of the game. Alas.

A neat bit of trivia you might be interested in: Brawl's "How To Play" movie uses its own unique rendition of Melee's "How To Play" that isn't in its sound test. No clean rip of this version appears to exist, but if anyone were to one day track it down, I think it merits inclusion in the anthology as well.]

Making a new comment to document some errors I was able to observe through the MEGA folder (that haven't been mentioned elsewhere on here):

Track 02-083 Rogueport has an extra space at the end of its filename ~~and possibly metadata name~~.
A number of tracks have been assigned artwork that is in one or more ways inconsistent with the artwork found in the "covers" folders or used by the majority of other tracks in their respective albums. Every one of these errors is accompanied by a faint diagonal stripe overlay of varying thickness, most noticeable on the borders and series icons but also usually visible in the character's backdrop. I've observed these errors on the following tracks:

- Volume 12-07 Bein' Friends (Brawl Mix)
- Volume 19-10 Core Luge
- Volume 23-03 Theme of Solid Snake
- ~~Volume 24-(04, 06 to 10, 13 to 15)~~

- ~~Larger than normal scaling of the character render~~
- ~~Vertically displaced upper and lower borders~~
- ~~Oversized and/or cut-off series icons in top-right corner~~
- ~~Noticeably poorer aliasing observable at border edges and on rendered clothing~~
~~The same errors have also been observed in the images found in the Banjo & Kazooie "covers" folder.~~ NOPE just the thumbnails being screwy my apologies

Excellent! I'm currently in the process of uploading the tracks to my phone, I'll list down anything else I notice here (so you get the reply notification and all that jazz):

#02-082, #07-05, #32-03, and #32-13 are missing metadata for "Album artist", "Composers", "Part of set", and album art.
#32-03 and #32-13 (the unused Persona 5 songs) are additionally missing "Contributing artists" and have had their Year mislabeled (2019 instead of 2016).
#37-106 (Banjo-Kazooie's victory fanfare) is missing from the download pack (the file in the explorable has exceeded its download quota so I've yet to obtain it through there).
EDIT: The Animal Crossing, Xenoblade, Duck Hunt, and Sonic fanfares have entries for a "Group description" tag that's filled in with Smash 4's full title except for one of Sonic's, which is filled in with Sonic '06. I've removed them on my copies because they interact a little weirdly with my phone's sorting.

This is awesome! Love all the effort put into making this super organized and awesome! I know you just added that certain songs no longer loop with a defined ending - but if it's possible, I'd love having all songs that loop be cut down to just their original first loop if at all possible. If it's too much work, not to worry but I usually get sick and tired of hearing a 2 minute song stretched into 4 minutes. Thank you!

It's chronological, so anything that came from melee but got changed a bit in brawl is a brawl mix.

"3. Kurikinton - FATAL FURY 2 (Ultimate Remix)" - Labeled 1992, should be 2019. Also, has a typo with an extra space.

"42. Art of Fighting Ver.230000000.0 - FATAL FURY SPECIAL" - Labeled 1992, should be 1993.

"48. Final Attack - METAL SLUG 1-6" - This is not a medley. It's taken directly from Metal Slug 5 in 2003. The title refers to how the same track appears in all 6 games (escape MS4).

Since they're practically identical, one is just a shorter loop of the whole thing, it made no sense to me to include it.

Shorter versions of other songs have a structural difference, which justifies their inclusion. I'll take another look though just to verify my decision.

I've double checked both formats and 1,181 is the number I get for total MP3/FLAC files.

Perhaps you could count the total files in each volume to find the missing file?

I miss the full "updates" you used to make where it was the entire folder of whatever you changed for each series. I see the ease of fixing 1 file at a time, but once you fix the same file several times, wouldn't it be confusing as to what one should update?

Like, if you change Vol. 19 #10 now and then again in a week, how would we know that we should update Vol. 19 #10 again?

I think sticking with an "update 1" and "update 2" format would be easier to follow because we wouldn't have to keep track of the dozens of individual files we already updated.

EDIT: Unless, of course, that [updates pending] next to the GDrive links refers to those exact updates, and not the new DLC fighters. In which case, disregard what I just said!

Update sections at the bottom of the post will have separate entries, so further changes to the same file will be listed in a newer update. Since it's now the 5th, any new fixes will be listed in a 08/05/2019 entry.

I'm doing it this way because I can get the changes out faster to everyone.

The pending updates means the fixes are being implemented for those packs and they're yet to be uploaded.

The full/multi packs take longer to upload compared to the modular setup of the Mega folder - which allows me to patch individual files and have it available to people straight away.

Each time there's a change, I need to re-zip up all the packs and upload them (FLAC takes 3 hours).

So, naturally, the zipped packs aren't up to date as soon as the folders.

Anyway, everything is finally up to date now!

Oh, wait, you aren't making update zips but instead rezipping the entire pack? Can you just leave the entire pack vanilla and make update zips like last time? It's easier that way. No need to redownload the entire thing just for a few songs. Just zip the folders that have changes together.

That's why I say use the Mega explorable folder to download the changed files, listed in the updates section at the bottom :)

I only re-zip the full packs with the updates for anyone who comes along without having downloaded before, the explorable folders contain the latest updates for prior downloads.

Well what I'm saying is that it's confusing and very time consuming to manually individually update the tracks from the mega folder. The way you handled updates in your previous thread was great. It only required a single download, which was easy to keep track of. I think that method was better than this, and easier for you too since you don't have to re upload the entire thing over and over.

Vol. 1: Replace '#164 - Trophy Shop' through to the end of the volume

'#164 is Trophy Rush - Fever, not Trophy Shop. So, where do we start? #164 - Trophy Rush - Fever, or #165 - Trophy Shop? You're even confusing yourself at this point. In this case I can just start at 164 just to be sure, but this kind of confusion can happen to other things that may not be so obvious.

I think the confusion stems from not disclosing the fix details :P

Trophy Shop and Trophy Rush Fever were both labelled as #164, Trophy Shop should've been #165, which rippled to the end of the volume - so, with the tag changes, the files people will have had would've corresponded to the fix at the time.

Fix lists are dated and packs labelled as 'up to date/updates pending (link removed)' for a reason, you're not really meant to look back on the older lists and ask "why does my pack no longer look like this?" - because you applied the changes :P

So do you see what I'm talking about when I say the way patches are handled now are worse than before? You should have said to delete and paste the files instead of replace, as replacing implies merging the new folder with the old and replacing any conflicts. Or, you should have included a note as to what the change was. Now I'm tasked with redownloading the files and keeping track to make sure I got everything.

Honestly I'm just redownloading the whole thing just to be sure lol.

This could be a bit of built up confusion and aversion to change :P

Several others who've commented find the modular update system to be way better than before as it puts updates under your control and fixes can be implemented almost instantly. 'Replace' inherently means you remove the old and bring in the new, which is delete and paste but shorter :P

That issue you referenced said "Replace #164 - Trophy Shop through to the end", which means you basically delete what you've got and download the updated version of Trophy Shop and the rest of the volume.

I understand some confusion will happen with the new system, because it's different to before, but if you just take a step back and work with it you'll (hopefully) find it to be more intuitive.

Dragging and dropping a .zip fix for this issue specifically wouldn't have worked, because you'd still have to also modify files for it to line up.

If it gets too confusing, you can easily just right click on a volume and download it for replacement :P

I apologize for sounding like I don't like change, but that's not the case here. I genuinely think the old way you were doing it was better.

I recall reading in the updates section that we need to simply delete/replace files. The persona album artwork had to be "deleted" from the Hero volume, and the other songs had to be "replaced" from the other folders. "Replace" is the wrong term to use in this scenario as it suggests to allow Windows to "replace" the old file with the new file if the names match. If the filenames are different, there is no "replacing" to be done, as they are all unique files. The instructions should thus have read "delete and replace" or "delete and paste" so as to delete the original files first and then paste the new files.

Dragging and dropping a .zip fix would have worked just as it did in your previous thread, because the entire volume was deleted beforehand. That was a better, less error-prone way of doing it involving only 2 steps.

I've just completed a hash check across the current Gdrive [up-to-date] link and the original that I've applied all necessary fixes to and found 6 unreadable files and 19 mismatches. I don't even know what the discrepancies are, but it looks like I messed up big time with the updates somehow. It would be news to me to discover that I'm technologically inept and can't follow instructions, so if I made these mistakes, I wonder how many other people will run into issues?

I think your suggestion of downloading an entire volume to apply a change is better than what I've been doing, but MEGA has a 5 GB download limit every 6 hours, so if multiple volumes are changed, I'd have to wait 6 hours to download them all. But that can't really be helped unless you move everything to GDrive, which doesn't sound like a good solution given that you'd then have to keep track of two mirrors.

If you're unwilling to go back to the previous change, no worries, I'll continue using the MEGA folder to download volumes, but do consider at least clarifying the patchnotes.

So um the "(Subspace Emissary) (Brawl)" songs are like really wack in iTunes for some reason but work fine in other media players. I know iTunes is really picky about things so that's just a thing that can happen (there's a rip of 64 out there that just does the same thing so don't worry, it's not just you) but if you know what I'm talking about and can fix that you might want to look into that

as a personal request can you possibly do a version of the Earthbound/Mother cover art that has both the Earthbound logo but also the "MOTHER with the Earth in the O" logo on it? Perhaps with the two of them diagonally offset from each other, like:

Earthbound
       MOTHER

Or something to that effect, so it fits in the diagonal space between the black bars of the template.

Thank you for the Japanese logo pack! It's a fun little addition. When I saw you were working on such a thing I got an idea for another one you could make, if the idea strikes your fancy: a retro logo pack. My ideas were swap the WarioWare logo out for a Wario Land logo, the modern Punch-Out!! logo for one inspired by the title screen of the NES Mr. Dream version, the Sonic logo for a Genesis-era logo, the Metal Gear Solid logo for the logo of the NES Metal Gear, Final Fantasy VII for the original NES Final Fantasy, and the Dragon Quest XI logo for the original Dragon Warrior logo.

Saying all this of course I realize that sounds like a lot of work for a bonus logo pack... is it possible you could make blank templates available?

Can confirm they're warbly in iTunes. That seems to happen when the sample rate isn't 44.1 khz, but only for some files, and only in iTunes. Nevertheless, changing the sample rate in foobar2k seemed to correct it for me.

Great work! Minor correction, though: while "Sonic Boom" was indeed composed and arranged by Spencer Nilsen, it was actually performed by Pastiche. David Young also wasn't a composer for the song; he did keyboard and synthesizer programming, editing and mixing alongside Nilsen.

Actually, a few of the other Sonic tracks should probably be edited as well.

I originally downloaded this collection from your previous upload . Errors I've noticed so far in regards to years:

"I'll Face Myself" is an Ultimate remix, yet the year is still listed as 2008.

"Mario Circuit (Mario Kart 8)" is mistakenly listed as 1990. Seems you had F-Zero on the brain.

"Theme of Solid Snake (Original)" is mistakenly listed as 2001.

You're a little inconsistent with the Brawl mixes. The Brawl mixes for "Menu 2 - Super Smash Bros. Melee" and "Brinstar Depths (Melee)" are listed as 2008, but others like "Fever" and "Bein' Friends" are still 2001.

The CPS1 (Type A) versions of the themes for T. Hawk, Fei Long, Dee Jay, and Cammy did not actually come with the original release of Super Street Fighter II, which only came in the CPS2 (Type B) format in 1993. Their themes were remixed to CPS1 standards in Hyper Street Fighter II, released in 2003. So that's the year these should be listed as.

"Nothing to Lose" and "Go! Getsu Fuma" should be listed as 2011, not 2010. Although Harmony of Despair was first released in 2010, those came with DLC released the following year.

"Hail from the Past" should be listed as 2007, not 2006. It's not the actual DS version and is actually the arranged version off the OST, released the following year. "Jail of Jewel" is the DS version, however.

"Lights, Camera, Action! Studiopolis Zone Act 1" was first released during the original reveal of Sonic Mania in 2016, on a promotional USB. It was a different mix from the final game though, so 2017 is still correct. Just worth noting.

Does the announcer ever say "Super Smash Bros. Special" for Japan? If so, could that go in the Announcer version of the JP Opening theme?

You have the main theme for Smash 4 listed as 2014. This is correct since that was when you could listen to it on its own, however it was first played in its entirety during the E3 2013 trailer. I thought that was worth noting.

"Battlefield - Super Smash Bros. Melee (Brawl)" is incorrectly listed as 2001. It's also not labeled as a "Brawl Mix" like the other Brawl remixes of Melee tracks.

"Credits - Super Smash Bros. (Brawl)", "Credits - Super Smash Bros. (for 3DS/Wii U)", and "Results Screen - Super Smash Bros. (for 3DS/Wii U)" are all incorrectly listed as 1999.

"Checker Knights" would be 2001, not 2008, as that's when it was released on the Hoshi no Kirby OST as "Strong Star Warrior".

"Environmental Noises" would technically be 2001 since it's taken directly from stuff you'd hear in Pikmin.

"Ai no Uta (French CM Ver.)" would be 2002, since that's when Pikmin was released in PAL regions, and when the commercial that used this song aired. It's also when the CD single was released with the full version of that song.

Both versions of "Famicom Medley" are labeled 2008 and 2014, but for all the other Retro Medleys you usually list them by the first theme you hear. In this case, it'd be 1988 and 1986 respectively.

"Battle Scene / Final Boss - Golden Sun" is a Brawl remix, but the year says 2002.

"Filled with Hope" should be 2014, not 2011, since it's from Steel Diver: Sub Wars.

This is a serious nitpick, but why are "Calamari Inkantation (Short)" and "Ink Me Up (Short)" listed as 2018? Sure, those particular shortened mixes are from Ultimate, but they're basically the same as the originals, just edited down.

The Brawl variants of Wario and Sonic's fanfares are incorrectly listed as 2014.

You have the full version of the Super Mario 3D Land theme listed between the Ground and Underwater variants. This is strange, since usually you list the full version first and the variants after.

"Termina Field (Remix)" has Dark Young Link cover art, for some reason.

The 3DS/Wii U remix of the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl battle theme comes before the Brawl version. Usually it'd be the other way around, but it's your call so this isn't really a complaint.

Typo on Light Plane (Original). It says "027. 24. Light Plane".

Typo on Wii Shop Channel (Remix). It says "055. . Wii Shop Channel".

"Pop Fashion Show" is mistakenly labeled as a Smash 4 remix. This goes for the cover art as well.

As well, "final_fantasy.png" is reported to be a jpg with incorrect extension.

Just wanted to thank you for your hard work. The tabbing system is a great idea. The Smash Bros album does something that I'd love to see expanded to the rest: using the character artwork for all the Smash Bros entries instead of just 64 and Ultimate, to fully complete the feel of an Anthology. But I realize the work required for that would be absolutely massive, and there's already a massive amount of work put into this already, so it's something of a pipe dream.

What i wanted to ask before downloading is, few people know this but some older tracks were shortened in the re-releases. Some are obvious like the Kongo Jungle DK rap, but some other like Brinstar Melee, Mother 2 Melee, Congo Jungle 64, Practice 64, Jungle Level Brawl, Main Theme Metroid Brawl, Crimean Army Sortie, Ike's Theme, Open your Heart, Live & Learn, Sonic Heroes, Seven Rings in Hand are lesser known to be cut.

Are those versions of the songs the ones when they first appeared or from Smash4/Ultimate? Smash4 and Ultimate where the ones to cut them.

Some of the songs you've mentioned (DK Rap, Brinstar Melee, Mother 2 Melee, Jungle Level Brawl, Crimean Army Sortie) do have both full and shortened versions included. However, there are some absent, not sure if they were cut at all when ported to Smash 4/Ultimate. Also, I was not aware those Sonic tracks were cut; as far as I know, they've been cut from their original songs ever since they were introduced in Brawl.

Either of the Megaupload or Google Drive links should be good to download the files. I'd get the mp3s, don't know how well flacs are supported on Android music apps. Saved to a directory in your lapop. Once on your computer, there are several ways you could do transfer to your phone. One would be to upload the files to your Google Play music account, then stream/download to your device through the Google Play Music app. It is tedious so you could also copy the files directly to your phone. You could either use a USB cable or Bluetooth, but USB would be fastest. Hook up your phone, then make sure to select MTP (media device) if your phone prompts you, that way you'll be able access all directories on your phone. Then locate the music folder and copy the files there. Personally I've never had a galaxy phone, so not sure where the folder exactly would be but I do have an Android phone.

Any program capable of editing the metadata of the files can do it. iTunes is one such program. Just right click the file(s), go to info, then hit the artwork tab. You can then delete, drag and drop or copy/paste whatever picture you want.

I use the logo arts for the albums and I had a few suggestions for alternates to be added where it syncs up with the rest of the albums.

Super Smash Brothers and Fanfare having logos from the various Super Smash Brothers games or even just two variations of the logo with the words Super Smash Brothers (2 so that someone could use a different one between these two albums). Reasoning: Every other album has a logo with words while this just has variations of the Smash symbol only.

Bayonetta using a logo for Bayonetta instead of specifically Bayonetta 2. Reasoning: There is music from both games as well as alternate outfits representing both games.

Dragon Quest having a logo for Dragon Quest instead of specifically Dragon Quest XI. Reasoning: There are songs from across the Dragon Quest series as well as alternate fighters from across the series.

Persona having a logo for Persona instead of specifically Persona 5. Reasoning: There are songs from across the Persona series.

Metal Gear having a logo for Metal Gear instead of Metal Gear Solid. Reasoning: There is music from the entire Metal Gear series and the original series would predate the Solid series.

Wario having a Wario Land logo instead of Wario Ware. Reasoning: Wario has a song from the Wario Land series as well as an alternate outfit which is more closely remembered for that series. Also the Wario Land series would predate the Wario Ware series.

I tried to rank the above suggestions from those that stuck out the most to me as I was looking at the album arts next to each other down to the ones that I only noticed because I was looking at each one for opportunities.

I do want to say though that there was a lot of work done already and still being done and this is minor but something that stuck out enough for me to at least suggest.

I think what happens is that he has used the logos used on the official site and other Ultimate promotional material for each series, those you listed using those specific game logos rather than their whole series.

For example, Kid Icarus had a modern revised logo used for Uprising and Smash 4 that looks like this, but if you go to Ultimate's website, and the E3 2018 presentation, you'll see that instead they used the logo of the first game, so that's why he chose to use it along those others for the albums.

I have been someone silent about this for now, but thank you for this, I've been following since you made the first post of this soundtrack and haven't been disappointed.

There's just one thing that I wonder about though, and it's that there's 64 artwork variants of covers, but not of the other previous games. I decided to throw in the N64 art simply because it's the first Smash game, there was emphasis on the original 8 at as the starting roster for Ultimate and lastly because Ultimate marks the biggest ever entry I thought it a nice gesture to hark back to the origins.

Right, I've just made it a heck of a lot simpler for everyone - one single link to the drive folder that contains all content for both versions.

To address to quota problem, login to your Google account, right-click on the file/folder you want and select "Make a copy".

You'll then find a 'Copy of..' version of that file in your own drive with the ability to download it!

Here is my usual report for this update:

"Reaper Jingle" is from Kid Icarus and composed by Hirokazu Tanaka. "Orne Jingle" is from Kid Icarus: Uprising, but it's not on the soundtrack so there's no way to know who composed it. I'm guessing it was Tanaka, since he did all the other 8-bit style music in the game. The years are also wrong: Reaper is 1986 and Orne is 2012.

"Go! Getsu Fuma" still says 2010 despite the supposed update. It should be 2011. I also hope you haven't forgotten the rest of the tracks with wrong years that I mentioned in other comments.

Vol. 1 has many typos with underscores. It could just be me since they don't say that on Google Drive, but...almost all instances of the & symbol are replaced with underscores.

Vol. 34 has typos on tracks #3 and #6. Apostrophes replaced with underscores. "Meta Knight's Revenge" doesn't have this issue so I don't think it's me.

MEGALOVANIA has a typo. Also, you've put it at the end of that album, but the album is largely organized chronologically by track origin. Is that really where SSBU puts it?

Ultimate does put MEGALOVANIA at the very end. That just seems to be a thing they like to do with their DLC. (Like how Smash 4’s DLC characters were listed after everyone else by release and not by series.)

EDIT: I just checked, and Go! Getsu Fuma is tagged as 2011 on my download. Strange.

About the underscores: this only happens when you're downloading multiple files at once instead of individually downloading files. Drive zips the files and replaces apostrophes and characters like & in their titles with underscores (I tested this with Meta Knight's Revenge). This is probably the result of compression. There's no easy fix for this I'm afraid, I just searched for all audio files with an underscore in their title and renamed them.

I'm assuming that one was zipped by Roynerer, so there was no weird renaming by Drive as it didn't need to be compressed when downloading. I'm not 100% sure though, I always used the Mega explorable folders to update, so this is the first time I've encountered this bug.

The Folder.jpg files refuse to be deleted because they have a 'System' file attribute, making the operating system afraid of deleting it. You can still delete it with an administrator account.

Is there any reason I should keep your previous Smash 4 anthology besides maybe the covers? I haven't checked if all the tracks from that are in this yet.

I mentioned in the previous thread how Nintendo gets some of their own tags wrong. The game claims V09: Star Fox - 08. Star Wolf is original when it's actually a remix. This is the real original. There might be more with an incorrect original tag, but you'd have to remember the original track yourself, or painfully check each track manually, to know for sure.

As far as I know that tag is actually correct.

The Star Wolf song included in SSBU is a remix, but it's a remix from Star Fox Assault. Smash gave it the Original tag purely because it isn't a Smash remix.

You might have mistaken this song for the Brawl remix which is also in the soundtrack.

I noticed that the Fatal Fury filenames have been numbered 1-50 rather than 01-50 like the others. It's an easy enough fix manually, but it's something to add to the docket at least.

I had been using old rips of the Smash 64, Melee, and Brawl soundtracks in my music collection for a long time (I've always used your Ultimate songs), and it sounds way better. I again thank you for all of your work.

I have a request and a question.

Request: Would it take too much effort to throw in a single-loop version of the DK Rap somewhere? (Normal intro, all 5 Kongs, outro, and sped-up intro) The one you have in the main folder is 7 minutes long because it does a full additional loop after the sped-up intro, and that seems a little excessive to me. (Similar vocal tracks like the WarioWare songs, the Psycho Soldier theme, and Beneath the Mask...I have no issue with going through twice.) If it's something that could be done pretty easily, I would appreciate it.

Question: I'm not any sort of sound engineer or audiophile so I probably can't explain it properly, but I noticed when going through some of the tracks that certain ones sound like they are a lower volume than others. The example that sticks out to me is the Battle Scene / Final Boss track from Golden Sun (although, I think there are others). I feel like I have to crank up the volume on that track compared to others. Like it doesn't have the same "oomph" as other tracks. I don't know that this is something that's "wrong" with the track that is "fixable"...maybe the track is just that way for some reason. I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on it, or if I am crazy.
