George kneels down to tie his shoe at a Yankee game and becomes a national icon of controversy

"Jerry! I'm a symbol of the black community but white supremacists are after me and Mr. Morgan is saying we're secretly racist!"

"Who is this?"

This is a great one.

George gets accosted by a group of white supremacists and tries to explain that he was just tying his shoe and everything got blown out of proportion. Much like the Van Buren boys episode, the white supremacists make him prove that he is not lying by throwing a Zeig Heil. He looks to see if anyone is around, turns around and raises his hand and Mr. Morgan is standing there.

George should be picking up a dollar off the ground instead of tying his shoes. Him and Jerry get into an argument about why he couldn't just wait until the anthem was over.

At the end of the episode he sees a dollar on the ground during the anthem and waits to pick it up, someone else grabs it first.

George exploits his newfound fame as much as possible, speaking at a rally in NY, selling t-shirts with "I Kneel With George" printed on it. Then it's all brought down when somebody figures out that he once posed as Donald O'Brien, president of the Aryan Union.

This, more than any other prompt I've seen on this sub, would be exactly the kind of episode Larry and Jerry would think to write.

Reporters recognize George from his stint as Neo-Nazi Donald O'Brien (The Limo) and when one approaches him as he's trying to escape from the game George can only think to say "I changed my mind." A member of the press follows him home to his parent's house (where he has moved back in) and mistakes his mom for his lover. She comes back the next day to have a talk with Estelle and a series of misunderstandings confirms to her that Estelle loves George, that she is Jewish, that she thinks he should be famous, but that she doesn't want her own name to be published for privacy reasons. Suddenly George is in the papers/online as a Nazi who overcame his racist beliefs out of love for an old Jewish woman, something that appals him until he is offered money for interviews. He decides to keep up the charade as long as he can, to most people's disgust. However, his dad actually wants to try to get a book deal out of it. Kramer insists on being part of the scam thus becoming Frank's writing partner hoping that they can convince Elaine to publish it. Meanwhile, people believe that George had a Nazi alter-ego all along and get angry, particularly Jerry's parents. Hilarity ensues.

Kramer seizes the opportunity to invent a new sport and starts a new professional league. Jerry makes a joke about patriotism in his act then backpedals with an awkward series of Nazi jokes. Elaine and Puddy attend a football game and break up over the anthem displays, then get back together by halftime.

George is eating nachos. National anthem starts. Cheese falls off nacho chip onto his shoe. He kneels down to scoop cheese off of shoe with chip. Looks up and he's on the jumbotron. The crowd boos.

Later in Jerry's apartment.

Jerry: You were eating cheese off of the floor of yankee stadium?

George: It was on my shoe!!! It never made contact with the floor!

Jerry: Why didn't you just wipe it off with a napkin or something?

George: There is a chip to cheese ratio! Each chip needs the same amount of cheese. I have a system. Everything needs to be equal.

Jerry: So just one chip without cheese throws everything off?

George: Yes. And You know what? They never give you enough cheese.

Jerry: You should say something. Start a movement.

George: You know what!? I am! We deserve a chip to cheese ratio equally.

George leaves the apartment and is swarmed with reporters.

Reporter: I'm here with the infamous man who knelt during the national anthem at the yankee game last night. What was going through your mind when you knelt down during the anthem?

George: (taken back) You know how you never get enough cheese with your nachos and if you spill some cheese then the whole ratio is just thrown off. There should be an equal amount of chips and cheese.

Report: (confused) So your message was about equality? What exactly were you trying to display with your act of kneeling?

George: (remembering his pledge) Inequality!

Reporter: You are talking about racial inequality correct?

George: What?

Kramer would figure you how many pro football players are doing this and tries to join BLM to get close to the players so he can pitch a crazy idea.

Elaine would confide in Jerry that her amazing new boyfriend was going to take her to the game, but he doesn't want to go because he thinks the protest is disrespectful. Elaine complains about how cops killing black people is ruining her life and Jerry points out her boyfriend already purchased the tickets and is inadvertently supporting the protest whether he goes to the game or not.

George walks into Mr. Steinbrenner's office

George: you wanted to see me sir?

Mr. Steinbrenner: Yes George come in! Please sit down!

George: Is this about me dragging the trophy out in the parking lot?

Mr. Steinbrenner: what was that?

George: nothing.

Mr. Steinbrenner: no George I understand you knelt during a game and it was on TV and the news!

George: oh no sir this is all a misunderstanding. You see my shoe laces were untied and-

Mr. Steinbrenner: save it George! The Yankees cannot be embroiled in this controversy. I always knew you were politically active Costanza. The day you walked through that door I knew!

George: you knew?

Mr. Steinbrenner: Yes! I keep files on all my employees. Including those who are communist sympathisers such as yourself.

George: communist? I'm not a communist!

Mr. Steinbrenner: Yes you are! You have all the trademarks; balding hair, your physique and your glasses. That's why I've called the good people at the psychiatric ward to come and give you the help you need.

orderlies come in and grab George

George: no! This is a mistake! Nooo!

Mr. Steinbrenner: good luck George! Get the help you need!

George has a press conference with Kramer and Jerry standing just outside of the camera shot. It's very warm. Kramer pulls out a rag he was using to shine his shoes in the opening shot to wipe his sweaty face. The rag is covered in black shoe polish. Some gets into his eyes and he stumbles into George's presser in black face.

Hey that guy isn’t standing for the anthem.

Bravo, OP. Pure brilliance. This is honestly my favorite premise this sub has produced, and I've been subbed for like a year. When someone posts a Seinfeld premise of this caliber here, it really makes me miss the writing of the show, itself.

[George and Jerry are at Monk's]

George: "Jerry, I had no idea! I don't even know what i think about all this!"

A beautiful young black woman approaches George, flirtatiously

Woman: "Hi, are you the man who bravely kneeled at the Yankees game?"

George: "Why, yes, I am."

Woman: "Hi, I'm Kimberly...we should go out sometime..."

She gives George her number and leaves. George suddenly is fervently on the Black Lives Matter side of the issue.

Haha. This will probably be a Curb episode, definitely see Larry doing this

George arranges for the kiss cam to pan on him and a new lady but didn't expect it during the national anthem. He gets a sleeve button stuck while he is tying his shoe and doesn't want to rip it since it is a borrowed jacket.

Jerry and George are talking in Jerry's apartment, then Kramer bursts in, grabs the TV remote and says "guys you gotta see this George is all over the news!"

I was thinking about this the other day, but I was picturing a Curb Episode!
