Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Rudolf the Reindeer? I thought not. It's not a story the Elves would tell you. It's a Christmas legend. Darth Rudolf was a reindeer, so powerful and so brightly nosed he could use the nose to light the path of a sleigh. He had such a knowledge of the nose light that he could even save Christmas from fog. The bright nose is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his nose light, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his reindeer everything he knew, then his reindeer killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from foggy Christmas Eves, but he couldn't save himself.

If I can recall the other eight lesser known reindeer then it’s a pretty damn good assumtion that I can recall the most famous reindeer of all.

I still want to know how Rudolph was able to navigate in IMC. I never saw any instruments, or an IFR rating. His nose would need to be bright enough to bake off precip, so we're possibly talking about hundreds of millions of candles, which would exceeded the power available by Santa's sleigh, even with the APU started. Also, at those power levels, his nose would be considered a WMD, vaporizing tracts of land if he hand to descend below the ceiling to look at the ground to get his bearings. So based on that, I have to say the Rudolph story is fake.
