When /u/Dinnerbone posted the preview of new splash potions, my first thought was "Did I leave the oven on?" My second thought was "I could totally command block that!"
This command block creation allows any number of players to throw any number of splash potions and they will have a lingering effect for a few seconds, during which any entity caught inside will receive that effect for the standard time.
It only works with tier-one, unextended potions right now, and probably forever, since I'm not updating this one the real feature comes out ;)
EDIT: I just realised I commented before you could say something about it yourself lol

It uses stained glass pane particles via iconcrack. I don't think you can color mobSpell particles (at least in bulk), but the glass pane effect looks pretty nice, I'd say.
I never said that it stopped using numerical ID's; I was just wondering if it did so, because I didn't know.

Your comment seemed to imply that having to use numerical IDs means that it doesn't work. Because you also seemed surprised that it worked, I assumed that you thought we no longer needed to use numerical IDs.

Recreating features before they're released to the public?
This is my kind of content. Great work!

You must be strong as a coursing river! With all the force of a disabled sloth!

How did you make the particles a specific color?

So basically you're running around in pieces of broken glass? Cool

Isn't that what would happen with regular splash potions anyway? They're in glass bottles.

Maybe. Maybe. But those immediately disappear

Wait, that works now? Last time I tried to use it, you had to use numerical ID's
[deleted] ยท 0 points ยท Posted at 14:42:38 on August 12, 2015 ยท (Permalink)*
It's function hasn't changed. Where are you getting that you don't need numerical ID's? The ironcrack is done like so: iconcrack_ (id) _(data)
For a green glass block, you would do: /particle iconcrack_95_5 ~ ~3 ~ .1 0 .1 .1 100

Yes, this is the case.

"With all the force of a disabled sloth"... might be my favourite analogy of all times :-)
