TPs you to an item after giving it motion when it hits the pressure plate?

The system works on a few simple principles:
1) Valid entities are teleported to the nearest entity named "faithplate" within a radius of 5. I chose items because they are affected by gravity nicely.
2) Any "faithplate" that touches the ground is destroyed.
3) Each of those pressure plates summoned a properly-named item with set rotation and motion tags.
If entitydata worked on players, this would be a lot easier and better.

That was pretty obviously implied. You could very obviously see the button with motion land on a WOODEN pressure plate (So the button is activating it) and getting a different motion. (Sorry if that sounded snotty, I didn't mean to be)
For the bounce gel I put slime blocks under light blue carpet and gave the player jump boost, I'd recommend giving the player the potion effect that doesnt have particles.

You need to make it so it doesn't change where you're looking :/

You should do the gels next, I did it in my test portal map by giving the player a potion effect determined by what coulour carpet theyre on

I did the same a while back, never bothered with showing it. The repulsion plates didn't work like I wanted them.

That was my plan for orange gel, but the bounciness of blue gel makes it more difficult to create. It bounces you a lot differently than slime blocks.
