Gunpowder Fuses in Vanilla Minecraft!
This seems to be a popular feature request lately, so I decided to allow gunpowder to be used as fuse timers for TNT with command blocks! Let's see how it works!

Say I need to get past this huge wall because the plot of this crappy roleplay says so. I can't light the TNT by hand because I might get hurt, but I could lay a fuse of gunpowder to light.

Here we go, a trail is set. I simply threw down the pieces onto the ground with Q. Any misplaced pieces were picked back up and replaced.

Simply use flint and steel to start the chain. Each piece will burn for five seconds before being destroyed and igniting its nearby neighbors.

After the final piece burns out, the TNT will detonate immediately without going through the fuse stage.

Kaboom! The gunpowder chain worked perfectly, though I did forget to actually go in the bunker I based this entire story on.

It's simple--armor stands (of course)! Whenever you throw one piece of gunpowder onto the ground, these guys are created and given a scoreboard value.
This lets them burn and whatnot. You can also pick up the gunpowder from them just by standing by it. Also, if the block beneath the powder is removed, it will turn back into an item drop, fall, and then turn into another one of these upon touching the new ground!

I love how armor stands are used for everything but storing armor it seems.

Make armor stand pictures! Use them as models for chairs and tables! Try and make vanilla animations with it!
I think the last one is more simpler than gunpowder trails in a sense but I've seen no armor stand animation get.
Maybe I should get into that...

Great job with this! Better than other attempts at fuses that I've seen. :)

I would pay to see a map using this feature.
Well.... no, I wouldn't.... I'll give a digital cookie!
Anyways, great job

Looks similar to what @Pracy_ did.
Awesome!

Except /u/Pracy_ used either mods or textures and clever video editing.

True. Derp, that's how you do the formatting.

Could you make a schematic of the Redstone? It's a very nice idea
