Looks pretty nice from the outside. I switched out the orange clay with yellow so the colors wouldn't be so close to the same.
And also switched out the blue with green. I like the inside more than the outside.
Here's the treasure room.
I even switched out the treasures! Aaragrsjk
And the trap.
It's a potion dispenser. Ouch!

a mesa temple (different from the desert one) in the mesa biome could be cool

Yes! Maybe something western, or cowboy related? Or just a different model from the desert one would be nice.

I think the colors mesh in a little too good. I suggest using a slightly different block to contrast it :P

A WOODEN PRESSURE PLATE? That's evil man! First time I ever found a temple I thought it was wooden pressure plates instead of stone. I broke the first sandstone block and the dropped item got away from me. I was so sure it had landed on the non-existent wooden pressure plate I jumped in my seat.

Somewhat. I found a seed with a desert temple at spawn. It was right on a little river with a mesa behind. I just used /fill a bunch of times to replace the river and some yellow sand with red sand.

No, no...I switched out the normal sandstone with red as well as the surroundings

Still, its a nice look. Mojang should add those into the mesa biome.
