Wandering through this dungeon once again, I stumble upon a spooky room! And, once again, there are chests!

Wow. Another unidentified diamond sword. Who would have thought? Let's check the next one.

Hey, this didn't just have a scroll! It's a bow, huh? Let's snag that as well.

This next chest has an emerald in it. There aren't any villagers around, but it says it can be identified, so...alright.

Wait, isn't that just magenta dye?

Where are the scrolls to identify my stuff? Maybe in this bookshelf?

Oh, the amazing "minecart in a bookshelf trick." So it looks like there's some scrolls for identifying in here. Sweet.

And some books--for double the identification!

In the item identifier 2.0, you can identify all kinds of items! (or four). It also supports amazing books and scrolls now stack their effects.

This magic rock needs two identify points to identify it. A book will provide two, or you can just use two scrolls.

Throwing multiple books will also stack--throw ten and you can identify twenty items or ten rocks.

Also, identification is random! You can get a different item each time you identify. Here's one of the special swords.

Emeralds are like off-hand things--when you hold them, you get a bonus. Otherwise, they do nothing.

This is opposed to the magic rocks, which give you a passive bonus whenever they're in your inventory!

Also, you occasionally get this fish when you identify a magic rock. "You caught a rock with a FISH in it!"
