I live in Vancouverโฆitโs one of the best cities in the world in terms of natural beauty. Itโs also great if youโre a cinephile, cuz youโre constantly surrounded by live sets, famous actors, and brush shoulders with people in the industry all day.
Itโs not for everyone, but thereโs a reason why 90% of the people you meet arenโt locals.
Also, houses/townhouses have been seeing a ~29% appreciation YoY for the last 5 years, and that number keeps growing. Basically if youโre paying a mortgage, youโre seeing a return on investmentโฆregardless if you bought yesterday or twenty years ago.

Recently discovered NL a few months ago. As a guy in his early 30s, NL's brand of humor is much more on par with what I find entertaining. The guy is also just a content machine with endless amounts of YouTube content out there. A major plus is he has no association with the same 5-10 streamers that get propped up on LSF. It's incredibly refreshing.
NL's true super power is his ability to fill dead air. The man hates silence, and always wants to be telling an anecdote or joke. Even when he's down 3 minutes in chess he is absolutely committed to try and be as entertaining as possible.
Watching Isaac episodes on YouTube you start to wonder where he gets all these anecdotes and movie trivia from. After thousands of episodes he still finds time to talk about something new every time. How?? The ratio of media consumed and time spent talking about media must be close to 1/1 for him, which to me does not make sense

I live in Vancouverโฆitโs one of the best cities in the world in terms of natural beauty. Itโs also great if youโre a cinephile, cuz youโre constantly surrounded by live sets, famous actors, and brush shoulders with people in the industry all day.
Itโs not for everyone, but thereโs a reason why 90% of the people you meet arenโt locals.
Also, houses/townhouses have been seeing a ~29% appreciation YoY for the last 5 years, and that number keeps growing. Basically if youโre paying a mortgage, youโre seeing a return on investmentโฆregardless if you bought yesterday or twenty years ago.
Barring a market collapse - thatโs unlikely to change any time soon.
FWIW I live in a 100 year old home that hasnโt been updated since the 60s. 3.5 bedrooms, 1.5 bathsโฆitโs small and run downโฆbut itโs a 5 minute walk from downtown. $5.5 millionโฆwhen I moved in it was $4 million.

Recently discovered NL a few months ago. As a guy in his early 30s, NL's brand of humor is much more on par with what I find entertaining. The guy is also just a content machine with endless amounts of YouTube content out there. A major plus is he has no association with the same 5-10 streamers that get propped up on LSF. It's incredibly refreshing.
