I liked it too. The setting was really nice, the new characters were some of the best ever introduced to KH -- it was just a really well written story at that point.
It's still good to this day, it all just feels a bit loose to me. (I blame DDD)

... but that statement could also read like someone attempting to guilt Sora into reconsidering one more time, or phishing to have him put her feelings first. She messed Sora up, rewrote years of his life to insert herself into it, she offered to fix her mess, he gladly accepted her offer -- she's not in a position to ask anything more, especially something so unfair to him. The only reason I won't say she doesn't deserve to have her feelings spared is 'cuz she did so under duress, but all the same, he deserved for her to make up for it.
Oh, I definitely agree that even asking the question was unfair on Namine's part. Even if it was under duress, what she did to Sora was wrong, and she knows it was.
But that's kinda what makes her such an interesting character. She's not trying to be a "bad person," but the circumstances of her existence make her susceptible to losing the internal battle between doing the right thing and fulfilling her own desires.
Unlike a character like Sora, that will never betray his ideals (and has never really had to struggle reaping the rewards as a consequence), Namine is clearly far less confident that doing what is "right" will ever allow her to see her dreams come true. Of course, she'd probably find that she'd never really feel at peace with letting Sora live the lie she created for him either, but that kind of maturity obviously hasn't fully manifested in her by the end of CoM.
I don't feel like she's intentionally trying to guilt trip Sora as a form of manipulation. She's feeling sorry for herself and verbally beating herself up over her own silly actions without really thinking at all about Sora's feelings. It is selfish, but not intentional.
She was created when Sora stabbed himself in Hollow Bastion. Give or take a month until the end of CoM. Then the year Sora was asleep. I'll estimate another year for the events of KH2, Coded, and DDD. Even with generous rounding she's less than three.
Unless you say that she's the same age as Kairi. Kairi is 14 during KH1 so 15-16 now.
In conclusion, she's too young any way you look at it.
Poor Namine is all by herself on the KH3 cover. They could’ve at least put her next to Roxas or between him and Sora since she’s important to both in a way. But no :( Roxas has a new girl

She's pretty important to everyone in both the Sora trio and the Roxas trio so I think she probably should have been somewhere between them. Maybe put her where Goofy is and move Goofy and Donald up to be more with Mickey.

I love Naminé. I hope she gets the happiness she deserves in KH III.
Is it just me or are her legs like reeeeeaaaally long? Like uncomfortabley long lol. The illustration is fantastic but it’s borderline sexualized and I’m really not sure I like it.

For all its unorthodox and sometimes frustrating gameplay, I think Chain of Memories is my favorite story out of the series.
