Normally when you throw a potion to one of your party members, Sora calls out their name (like "Donald!")
However, the very first time you have Donald and Goofy in your party (against some soldiers and then Guard Armor), Sora hasn't been introduced to the pair yet.
So when you throw a potion, Sora doesn't say a name
[1] because he doesn't know their names!I thought this was really cool. Great attention to detail for a very minor battle in the first game. Not sure if this has been noticed/posted before but I'd like to share.

Speaking a cool details people donโt generally know about in KH1, remember how Riku makes your shadow self appear in Neverland? Well he actually USES your shadow, so from the point shadow Sora is made and before you beat shadow Sora, if you look on the ground in ANY of the worlds, Sora will not have a shadow.

I did wonder about it a while ago, but never bothered to look into it. This is actually pretty cool! The first Kingdom Hearts always had a lot more subtle details than the other games, its something that I missed.

Damn thats fun. Now you have me wondering if there are other contextual interactions! Like does Donald still say โthank youโ when you heal him at the Tarzan level when he and Sora are pissed at each other?

Yup, they say "Don't give up!". They also don't say each other's names, either.
