I may be wrong, but it looked like that bar was related to the Meow Wow in the trailer. So my guess is that full gauge = dreameater summon.

Considering this takes place in the doors storage, it's possible that you need to fight enough Heartless in a ridiculous fashion to make Boo laugh, causing all the doors to activate.

Maybe this takes place during a fight against Randall like the door to door chase in the movie.

I thought the laugh power was what allowed him to summon the Meow Wow Plushie that exploded and released a wave of small monsters.

Also, I wonder if Dream Eaters will have a weird canon tie to the Monster world...

Well in the movie they really only interact with sleeping kids so if the realm of sleeping could seep into any world Monster's Inc makes the most sense imo

Exactly my thoughts, the morale guage in Land of Dragons had a meter than ran out over time and if it went to 0 you had to restart, that's basically along the same lines!

My guess is that it is a scenario where you need to keep the gauge from running out, would explain why the gauge maxed out during the Meow Wow summon.
