Funny story... I was at Subway with a group of friends and this girl walks in.... she was maybe 10 or 11 but the way she was dressed, the way she walked, even the way her face looked made her seem like she was in her 30's. It's hard to describe without seeing it but it kinda weirded me out.
When one of my friends commented on it, he said "That girl was like a little adult", I knew exactly what he meant... of course, the rest of the group had to give him a hard time because "Aren't all kids just little adults" blah blah blah... but I'm pretty sure they all knew it too and were just being dicks.

Uh... thatโs not the saying and in fact we do eat the environment that is all we should eat what the earth provides unaltered by processing factories that exploit workers who can no longer farm with real crops without toxic pesticides because of factory farming. The only reason we need fucking jobs is to feed greed driven over consumption to keep adding zeros to bank accounts and stock portfolios. Watch how fast depression and suicide rates drop if we all spent our days working to meet the basic needs (i.e. small scale farming, building, etc) of our families and communities around us instead of being wage slaves.
The rise of specialization has greatly improved productivity and output of of workers.
Going back to small scale operations would destroy the economy, trigger famine and result in mass death and suffering across of the entire world.
But sure, itโs actually greed.

You missesd the point entirely, you're a product of the system you seek to defend. We don't need increased output, for fucking what? So more people can buy more iPhones they don't need year after year? If we are more productive why are we working more and not less? Because efficiency gains will only benefit the few because they will use them to drive profits instead of quality of life for all of us. If I grow/produce all I need with my own labour and share with those around me (and they do the same) we don't need an economy. Fuck the economy and perpetual growth. It will be the end of our species.

The rise of specialization has greatly improved productivity and output of of workers.
Going back to small scale operations would destroy the economy, trigger famine and result in mass death and suffering across of the entire world.
But sure, itโs actually greed.

You missesd the point entirely, you're a product of the system you seek to defend. We don't need increased output, for fucking what? So more people can buy more iPhones they don't need year after year? If we are more productive why are we working more and not less? Because efficiency gains will only benefit the few because they will use them to drive profits instead of quality of life for all of us. If I grow/produce all I need with my own labour and share with those around me (and they do the same) we don't need an economy. Fuck the economy and perpetual growth. It will be the end of our species.

or you could actually be proactive and live a fulfilling life. plenty of people quit their jobs and travel the world. others use their jobs to live their life the way they want to. it sounds to me like you just want to get everything for free and not work for anything.

Then prove me wrong. Show me evidence that a communal society can fuction on a wide scale. Show me a country that did that and survived longer than 20 years without devolving into a dictatorship.
