We're still less than sure -- the work that I've contributed to is actually the first exploration of associative learning in any species of squid, as far as we're aware.
But our data seems to suggest that they learn quickly, and remember what they have learned for several weeks at least. The species that I work with seems to display capacity similar to, if not better than, the more-studied cuttlefish species that have published data. Certainly, cephalopods are the most "intelligent" invertebrate from the perspective of learning and memory.

My friend found this video while looking up DIY patio projects. They have a weird parody of The Office, and my personal favorite is a mockumentary. The channel ranges from utter garbage to parodies to really good horror to high school? projects. I don't know, it's weird but I kinda like it.

They are definitely self-aware. Spongebob/the rich guy went to my high school but was a few years younger. Very funny kid in person. He also has a hilarious parody soundcloud but uses his real name so I won't post it

These kids are talented and deserve more recognition. There stuff isn't amazing but it makes me really happy to see young people creating art and having fun. Even their crappy videos make me happy because they remind me of the dumb shit I used to do with my friends when I was a kid.

I'm really enjoying all of these. Shoes was surprisingly intriguing and well done. I think if the experimented with different shots they could make some really stellar short films. They have all the ingredients, they just have to refine their movie-making skills a little more. My friends and I used to do this in middle school and these videos bring me back 15 years. We've lost the tapes since but those memories are still there. Great find, OP.

I'm a senior film and TV student who decided on the major after making a ton of sniper montages when I was 12. This summer I'm working on a documentary about 4 amateur comedians rising in my city. I'm also working at an ABC news station as a production intern. I hope I have something minorly noteworthy 2030 :). I am so glad software is accessible to 12 year olds who want to make sniper montages

Ok it's weird as fuck, but gotta say, they are at least trying with their own "style". They have a lot of videos, and even though they are "weird/terrible" they continue to do make them! so cheers to that (at least)
our spongebob video was claimed by B_Viacom when the video was at 99,345 views. Sadly we cannot dispute this as it did include their script and title screen.

Sweded! That's what this is called! Has anyone seen "Be Kind, Rewind"? It's got this hilarious concept where Mos Def and Jack Black work at a video store and attempt to replace all the VHS tapes after a magnet wipes out all the content. The way they replace the tapes is by remaking the films themselves in an incredibly low budget manner known. They call the films "sweded".
The concept actually has a lot of potential; there's something very endearing about it. Shoutout to /r/sweded (cue sneakpeekbot).

Sweded! That's what this is called! Has anyone seen "Be Kind, Rewind"? It's got this hilarious concept where Mos Def and Jack Black work at a video store and attempt to replace all the VHS tapes after a magnet wipes out all the content. The way they replace the tapes is by remaking the films themselves in an incredibly low budget manner known. They call the films "sweded".
The concept actually has a lot of potential; there's something very endearing about it. Shoutout to /r/sweded (cue sneakpeekbot).
